It had been eight years since the terrible night when Buck Trager had listened from under his family's porch as his mother, father, and brother were brutally tortured and slain for a bag of gold dust, and now he had come back to avenge those murders. He knew exactly who the murderers were....... A gripping tale of Murder, vengeance and suspense.
It started as a typical western, but I was pleasantly surprised that the plot and characters went in a different direction than is usually the traditional norm.
Initially it was hard to keep track of all the players in this novel but I was able to do it. I liked the suspense and it’s background as a western, which I love. The ending is the reason I gave it 5 stars. You will not be disappointed if you are a fan of westerns as there is much action and for me a so called “page turner”.
