I enjoyed the second installment of this serialized shared-world anthology--especially the novella Victim 18, a hard-boiled heist story by Eileen Bell, that both gave clues to the continuing plotline and was a satisfying story in its own right. A Man of Quality by Ryan McFadden had a cool solution to the character's beset-by-monsters problem; One Horrible Day by Randy McCharles went off in an unexpected direction--but had the best ending line. After Harry's story installments and The Call, I am seriously rooting for him and Nydia to get back together.
