Whispers Through Time

Rate this book
Jill Palmer has been coasting through life since her divorce two years ago, so when her best friend tricks her into attending a past-life regression, Jill is upset but reluctantly agrees. Initially refusing to believe in the validity of the regressions, Jill is drawn back to them over and over again by the man she believes may be her soul mate. From her time as an Irish wife in the 1600's, to the streets of 18th Century London, and finally experiencing an exciting affair in 19th Century Boston, Jill finds her one true love over and over again; so where is he now?

Opening her mind to places she had always refused to go, Jill visits a spiritualist church, meets psychic mediums, and attends channeling sessions where the spirit of Saint Martin de Porres verifies her regressions. Finally believing her past lives were real, Jill discovers that life doesn't end when the divorce is final, and love may find you when you least expect it.

I won this book on Goodreads, and Barry and I had a bit of bother with the first book going astray, and problems with getting a second off, but it arrived safely.

I have been well into a series with demons and all things nasty for a wee while, so when I woke up early this morning I decided to dip into Whispers Through Time.

Thank goodness it was today because I just had to keep going until I finished the book. I thoroughly enjoyed it and even shed a tear at the end. It was a bout a subject I have always been interested in, in fact many things came up in the book I was interested in. I try to have an open mind about what we cannot see and science cannot explain (maybe why I love all sorts of books especially supernatural ones.)

The blurb tells you the basics of the story so no need to repeat all that, but I found it very easy and comfortable to read, on page 1 I knew I would enjoy it because I was right into it immediately, no 'keep going it will get better' type of feeling.

My message to Barry, is very simple, ' loved it, please let me know when the next one is out!'

Barry, this book was ***AMAZING***!!! Honestly, it has been a long time since I've read such a good story & a love story to top it off! I cried more than once & could not put the book down. I hated the fact that it was going to end :) But, what an ending!!! This really should hit #1 on the NY Times Bestsellers List... really! You are a very good writer & I'm looking forward to your next book!!!
