It's Valentine's Day, and Splat and his friends want to give Mrs. Wimpydimple something special. Lift the flaps to find out what—and reveal hidden holiday surprises!

I love the Splat books. Splat and his class are getting ready for Valentines day. He invites the crew over so they can all work on a secret project together. Making this book super fun is that every page is a lift the flap page. Can you guess what everyone is making?
This is a cute story about how Splat the Cat paired up with his friends to make a Valentine's day card for their teacher. The story is told through flaps that flip up to reveal text. I would recommend this to students in first and second grade.
I like pop-up books and thought this one was cute. My preschoolers didn't really care except that it had foldout sections. But I liked how Splat and his friends worked together.
Unique illustrations, but a story that didn't capture my early reader's attention, even with the surprises under the flaps throughout. I'll try another book in the series, as the cats themselves are sweet.
A lift the flap valentine adventure with Splat and his friends. Here they are cooking up a valentine surprise with the best crafting supplies. Preschool and up.
Actually probably 3.5 stars on this one, but we love Splat stories around here. This one is a flap book and my 5-year-old loved that part. The pictures are awesome, but the story seemed a bit thin on this one (meaning, not much narration for the pictures, mostly the pictures), hence the lower stars. However, the cute pictures make this one definitely worth it!
I love Splat the Cat books and this one is extra fun since it has special pages that lift up to reveal more surprises! The class wants to make a special Valentine's Day card for the teacher. Splat is working hard and comes up with something really nice.

Splat seems to often provide silliness in the form of arts and crafts. This time it is a valentine for his teacher. Filled with interactive lift-the-fall pages the building to the surprise is quite fun and entertaining.
The "special Valentine" was wholly underwhelming; it is concerning that multiple kitties were conscripted for its creation. Are we encouraging and rewarding mediocrity?
Then again, I suppose it's the best a group of thumbless kitties could manage.
A fun read. This book has flaps which I love! I like how the story continues on the back of the flap. I didn't expect my son to like this book but he did. It's a cute book and helped teach my son about celebrating Valentine's day in school.
Another Splat the Cat for Maddie and so timely - Valentine Day is getting close. It's has the added advantage of flaps, which is something she really enjoys. A good time reading is had by all.
My children love Splat the Cat. The flaps in this picture book are very easy to lift without accidentally tearing them. Splat and friends make a surprise valentine for their teacher. I'd recommend for ages 3-6.
