Oh Marley.... If you've ever read Marley & Me or have seen the movie adaptation, you know exactly the shenanigans Marley gets into. These early readers are inspired by the like.
Always you can trust that Marley is up to some shenanigans. While the family tours the local firehouse he does not want to be left behind, but to jump right into the mess. Or rather, jump right into the firehouse and cause the mess. Fun and funny this Level 2 Early Reader gives a slight introduction to what one would find in a firehouse. It might be a great reader for preparing a field trip. For us it is always fun to see what other familiar might deal with in having a silly dog.

Does your child like firehouses, dogs or firemen? If so they will enjoy this story! I gave this book 5/5 stars. I have read most of the Marley books but this one was especially well done. I enjoyed the trip through a firehouse, both with and without Marley! I think this book shines a positive light on a firefighters work life. I would recommend this book for any child to read!
Marley is a puppy and hes out on a walk with his family. They stop at the firestation as they are having an open house. As the firemen take the family on a tour and show them (and the reader) around the fire house Marley is on his leash outside. BUT not for long... A fun playful story of a puppy and a teaching about firefighters as well.
Marley follows the family into the firehouse. While there, what can Market get into.....of course trouble! Marley the adventurous dog makes a great read for children who loves dogs and firefighters. Marley may get in trouble, but Marley becomes the firehouse mascot in the end!
7 year old loves the Marley series books. She is just conquering reading in English as she first learned to read in Spanish, so these books are great for her developing reading skills!
