Modern Family is hilarious and is one of my favorite TV Shows. Modern Family: Wit and Wisdom from America's Favorite Family is a collection of funny quotes, advice, and moments from the Emmy winning show. For me this book was a quick, and fun read. Some of the best parts of the book include the Haley, and Gloria sections. This book is very similar to Phil Dunphy's Philosophy book he gave to Haley before going to college. If you want a good laugh, and you love Modern Family this is definitely a must read!

This was a terrific gift from my daughter, Jenna. There is some original writing--written from the various characters' points of views.... or is it point of views? The rest of the books consists of great quotes from the show.

I love finding humor in the challenges of raising a family, and I find a lot of unexpected insights from the book!

The teacher in me is dying to use this with my 7th graders to examine sentence structure, dialogue, punctuation, and strong characterization. I know....some things are just to be enjoyed, but my teaching passion turns me into an education freak.

Reading this book was like picking up joy packaged in a little paperback. I've been a big Modern Family fan for years, especially the first 1-3 seasons, which are covered in this book. Each family member had their own section, which started with an essay written from that character's perspective! I loved getting another layer to the characters that I grew up with, directly from the writers who created them!

I had just finished Divergent, and I needed something to read, and finish, until I got Insurgent. I had this on my bookshelf and decided that it would be easy and short enough to finish in a day. It was a correct thought.

This book was so funny. I'm a huge fan of Modern Family, and I was sitting at the doctor's office with my little sister, and I could not stop laughing at what I was reading. My favorite section was Phil's. And I think they should have put that last. Leave the book off with a bang. Despite that thought, I think this book was so hilarious. And if you're like me, and you won't start a new book until you've finished your current one, this is a short and easy, funny book that can be finished in a day.

It was a nice light read. Found a lot of passages that I watched from the series - which made me laugh! But, it would not have been as funny, if I didn't watch the series. I say that because, there were a few that would not seem funny if you just read it - you have to go back to remembering scenes where the actors delivered them - just beautifully funny!

I love this show so much and this book was really funny and easy to read. I couldn't stop laughing the whole time I was reading this. If you have watched the show, this is a book you should read.
