From five guys who didn't even know each other to making it to The X Factor final, heading off on our first tour, recording our first album, and releasing our own music, we've written this book so you can get to know who we really are, where we came from, and where we're going next. First off, I would like to say that I am a HUGE fan of One Direction, and the fans of One Direction are called Directioners. Since I am a Directioner, how is there a way I can't love this book? For me, this book is totally awesome and I would definitely find some time to read it over again. Just like how my friend, Ploy, reads Star Wars! :) As a Directioner, I have been looking for this book for quite a while now and it has not made me disappointed after I finished reading it. I now know more about the boys, Zayn, Niall, Louis, Harry and Liam. I adored their baby pictures in the book, and their stories about their childhood as well. The boys even talked about their relationships. My favorite was Liam's because he really liked a girl named Emily and he asked her out 22 times but he was always rejected. Then Liam sang a song to her and they finally went out together but he got dumped the day after that. I felt sorry for Liam but right now, Emily might be feeling kind of sad for dumping him. (haha :P) It was also a pleasure to find out that these really famous boys also had something alike to me. For example, Zayn grew up in a big family and his cousins were mostly girls. He also had 3 sisters of his own which made him strongly influenced by woman. I also grew up in a family full of boys. I have an older brother of my own, and I have a lot of cousins who are guys on my mom's side, who I tend to meet a lot. When I was first put into an international school, I was also in a class where I was the only girl. That's why I am very manly influenced. Overall, I loved reading this book and enjoyed it a lot. I would absolutely recommend this for anyone who is a Directioner because you'll definitely love it. For people who love reading biographies or something diary-like, you might want to try reading this book too!

Though I'm worried about how scarily obsessive this will make me look, I'm afraid I'm going to have to put this on my to read shelf- I love the boys too much not to! I'm also actually REALLY curious as to what this book is all about...

As a side note- does anyone else think that Harry looks like a Mexican drug dealer on the front cover of their album? I mean, seriously, come on?!

I love these boys with all of my heart and I have been a Directioner forever. Just watching them grow has made me smile. I'm so proud of them. From the bromances, the jokes, dances, to the crazy cheeky moments! They are part of my life and I couldn't imagine being without them.

This book tells their story and I've smiled a number of times reading what they had to say as well as laugh at a few moments that I knew of before reading the book. All of the pictures made me smile and coo even harder. It was amazing reading about their home life and getting deeper into their personalities. I could relate to so many things in the book. I swear, I almost ripped my face open from.smiling so hard when I was looking at the pictures and seeing how genuinely happy they are and how their bond is so strong.

This book will definitely be kept forever and will be reread. Their hard work has and is still showing and these boys are so amazing. I'm smiling typing this. I'm just in love with these five boys. :)

I'm an ordinary girl who has sold her life to a boyband who doesn't know I exist. A fangirling potato. A Directioner.

This book introduces you to my five, sexy husbands namely Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Harry Styles. This tells you their journey as X-Factor contestants to becoming the next biggest boyband of this generation. As I read the whole book, I can't help but feel proud and happy. They have come so far. They have become an inspiration to a lot of us teenagers. They have brought happiness and changed a lot of our lives. They are one of the best things that happened in my life. I may not be here since Torn, but I will always be with them and support them 'til the end.

I can't exactly explain my feels and emotions with this book. I laughed, smiled and cried all at the same time - seems like I was on crack or something XD. All throughout I'm just like AZSWQRECDPIKOLMNJUFTYHGBNMV :) And most of all, I can't count the times my ovaries exploded as I flip through their pictures. They're just so perfect... omfg I can't even :">

Basically, I fangirled all over this book. You know how I feel, my dear fellow directioners. ;)

OH MY GOD. THROWBACK TO THAT TIME I BOUGHT THIS AND RETURNED IT THE SAME DAY.

Wow, this is so funny to look back at. I remember freaking out when I found this in a store and immediately buying it, reading it in like 2 hours, being super pissed, and then returning it.

Why was I was so mad?

Cause I knew everything in it. Like, I literally got no new information about them in this and me being a *crazy, psycho fangirl* [refer to my Kill the Boyband Review], I flipped out about it on twitter and returned it. Sigh.

I hate myself lmao.

Yes, I own it. You should be jealous. You should also be in awe, because I am a Narnian, and it is no small feat for a Narnian to obtain 1D merchandise.

I give it a rating of five stars because of three obvious reasons:

1. I love One Direction, like really really love them. These five boys are my world. They are the ones who light up my world like nobody else. They are the ones who stole my heart. I've fallen for them since Torn and I'll keep falling for them no matter what they do (even if Harry shaves his head and Zayn gets rid of all of his tattoos, I'll still love them).

2. They are breathtakingly handsome. They are beyond perfection. I have a feeling that they're actual sex gods who came down here from Heaven to rip out our ovaries and permanently damage our vocal cords and

3. I'm a dedicated Directioner. Of course I'd love it. I saw this book on display and I couldn't stop fangirling for five minutes straight. And even though this book cost me about half my savings, I have no regrets. None at all. ♥

Dare to Dream de One Direction fue un libro que realmente disfruté y recomendaría a cualquier fanático de One Direction. El libro era una autobiografía escrita por los cinco miembros de One Direction; Harry, Liam, Niall, Zayn y Louis. Cada capítulo fue sobre uno de ellos y cómo lograron pasar de vivir en un pequeño pueblo inglés a convertirse en una gran banda de chicos. Hablaron de crecer y de su viaje para convertirse en famosos. Puedo conectar este libro con otras autobiografías escritas por celebridades, porque la mayoría de las autobiografías cuentan sus experiencias pasadas como esta. Puedo conectarlo a mi vida porque soy un gran fan de One Direction y aprendí más sobre ellos leyendo este libro. En general, Dare to Dream fue un gran libro y creo que cualquiera que ame One Direction como yo disfrutaría este libro.

Harry says his earliest memories are being at Disney, when he was about five. Then he says that his hair has changed a lot, and the worst part is that there is photos that prove it; and its kind of embarrassing. He says he is really competitive in sports. He likes things that involve skill and anything that’s a bit of a challenge. At the end of eight grade he and some friends formed a band.
He was shocked when they asked him to be the singer cause the only places he had sing was the shower and at the car. He gave it a try and they always sang ‘Summer of 69’ by Bryan Adams.They entered a competition, and the day of their performance the named the band. Harry had the idea of calling the band ‘White Eskimo’ which was the most random name ever; but since that moment they where White Skimo.They where really good, and won!

Harry always though of auditioning for the X Factor, and he did back in 2010. He says that the best part was when they where told they were going to be put in a band together. The band members are Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn and Niall; and they are called One Direction; Harry thought of the name. They stayed at Harry’s stepdad’s house so they could know each other better and see how they sounded together; even though the last thing they did was sing. Back at the show they had the second audition at Simon’s house in Spain; and they went through! They go to finals but got third place. Harry says he found the X Factor final pretty emotional. Later they went to Simon’s office and they where told they were getting a record deal. In January they went back to work. They went to LA, and Harry says he finds it weird that everyone is so polite there. They also did some recording, at the same place the Glee cast was recording vocals; which Harry thought was really cool. He says he whishes they had been in LA more time, so they could see more things.

Harry says that he is surprised of how committed the fans are. He thinks is crazy how people on the streets recognize him. Harry also thinks he might not get used to all the cameras, or reading things about him on the news. At the end of Harry’s chapter there are some facts, so here are some of my favorites. His favorite food is sweetcorn and his favorite restaurant is TGI Fridays. Harry likes to spend a Sunday sleeping or chilling out. Now I’m starting with Liam’s chapter. Liam says one of the strangest thing he might tell us about his younger years is that he only has one kidney. He has only one because when he was born he was effectively dead. When he was little he had to get 32 injections in the morning and in the evening. Liam still has both kidneys only that one doesn’t works, so he need to be careful.

When liam was 12 years old he joined the running team from his school. He became the third best 1500 meters runner in his age group. Thanks to Liams dad he became very sporty and worked out a lot. When he was growing up he started singing karaoke, he used to sing Robbie Williams songs. Liam had auditioned for the X factor back in 2008 but got to the third round, so in 2010 he gave it another shot. When he got the news that they were going to put them in a band, he very excited! At the same time he was quite nervous about going to harrys stepdad house, because none of them really new each other. But when they got to know each other they got along pretty well. While they where on the X Factor they all share a room, and he says that sharing a room with five young ´lads´was pretty crazy. Now the boys are the best of mates.

I miss those boys! When I was with them on the X Factor they never failed to make me laugh. Especially Louis. He was hilarious. Liam was so sweet. Harry always made me feel beautiful. Zayn may have seemed shy, but he was really funny and nice. Lastly, Niall always made me feel better when I was down. I hope we can all meet up soon.

Of course I was going to give this book 5 stars. Friggin One Direction wrote this book. I LOVE One Direction! I really liked that I got to read all the different sides of all 5 boy band members. Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, and Niall Horan all auditioned for X Factor: UK. They all thought they were going home when they were grouped together and made into the most perfect boys band in the UK. I enjoyed reading the different opinions and differences they had before and during the show. They also expressed their favorite things and why they all love singing so much. I love One Direction like I said before and I didn't expect this book to be bad and it wasn't. It lived up to all my expectations about it! Thanks One Direction!!!!!! I love you!! <3

This book was absolutely amazing! I loved it, it was filled with so much detail and information about the band. As a fan, it made me understand them more.

I would only recommend this book if you are a fan. If you are not a fan of One Direction, then you would probably not find it that interesting. Also it is very hard to find the book. So, if you want to read it you have to be willing to wait a while, while you find a copy of the book.

When this book came out on sale, i couldn't believe my eyes, i love One Direction so in my eyes it was compulsory for me to buy it. Unfortunately i am not very good at saving my money so i only had 1/4 of the amount that it was on sale for which was $40 very expensive but very worth it.

Since it was my number one priority to buy this book, i wouldn't stop at nothing to own this book, i asked my little sister (who was the money saver of the family) to buy it for me, i said i would do anything, she wasn't convinced. it was late February and i said i will be her "slave" till the day after her birthday in October. She agreed in this but she wanted more convincing, so i said i would pay $10 of it and she doesn't have to give me a birthday or Christmas present for 2 years. She liked this proposition and with that i got myself a new book.

It is a hard cover, very big and shiny. It has an old photo of the boys on the cover, and it was their second book release.

The book is divided into 6ths, there are 5 boys and each of them get 1/6 of the book space, the rest of the space is photos of them on tour or just them being silly.
I was so hooked in this book, i loved every word of this book, it felt like they were actually talking to me. Me being a slave sucked, i have to admit...i was not a good one, but i still got the book! i have read it 3 times and i am still reading it for the 4th time.

The boys talk about themselves when they were younger, and their passions, how they were at school, friends family, their dreams of becoming a singer, about how the X-Factor changed their lives and how the feel now, now that they are at the top of the world.

My favorite member in the band is Niall Horan. The reason is being, he is the cute blonde one. I think i would relate to him more, he is a social and funny person, i would resemble my self in that way.

My favorite quote in the book would probably be;
"Being single doesn't mean you're weak, it means that you're strong enough to wait for what you deserve" - Niall Horan ♥
The reason being is because Niall is single and he is emphasizing that he doesn't need someone to help him with his life, he knows what he is doing, and he is waiting for the right person to come along, this is what makes him string. He is waiting for me ^.^

Obviously since i am a fan it is one of my favorite books, i know every other directioner would love it to, this just proves i would do anything for One Direction, and being a slave for my sister is hard work. She's EVIL!

This book taught me to "Dare to Dream" like the title. If i have an ambition that i want to achieve and i stick my mind to it, i can accomplish anything. I want to become an actress, with this book it makes me believe that i can achieve my goal, i can do anything if i dare to dream.

On the blog bingo board i put this book in the "A diary, autobiography or biography" catagory

i rate this book 9.5/10 it would be 10/10 if the book was signed, but it isn't, :'( oh well. i will still meet them someday :)
