Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.

quite the read here. the book is certainly interesting and while a little tedious at times, is rather easy to forge ahead as you’re drawn in by the character and humility of Saint Paisios. at times this is a heavy read as you learn of the lengths he would go to give himself up to Christ, and to show undying love others. i found myself challenged by the Monk as i was shown what true humility and selflessness looks like.
i highly recommend too all, as you can see what blessings can come from a life devoted to Christ, through a wonderful example in Saint Paisios.
wow. this is the first life of a saint i’ve read. it was a challenging read in many ways, especially St.Paisios’ mentality about the faith and simple appreciation of God and life with Him. There are many miracles and experiences in the book that are the kind i doubt so easily, but couched in the story of this man’s life God becomes bigger and more real, more personal.
The book is long, and a little tedious at points, but it really just is over 550 pages of God working through a man’s devout humble love . It is a full recommend for Christians interested in stories , lives of Saints, and even missionary stories- though it is decidedly Eastern Orthodox in Theology, there is so much to be gleaned from any Christian perspective.
"’Love bestows prophecy; love yields miracles; love is an abyss of illumination...’ Love is the ultimate degree in the divine ascents of the virtues. ‘God is indeed love, to Whom be praise, dominion, power, in Whom is and was and will be the cause of all goodness throughout endless ages. Amen.’" Pp. 566
The next time someone tells me, "Your Church's monks are just some lazy, old incels," I'll throw this book at them.
Starting with the more blatant goodies, the writing, design, artwork, printing, and layout are absolutely breathtaking. For only fifty dollars in today's economy, I'm impressed.
Concerning substance, I am even more impressed. The intimacy of this work makes me feel like a little kid who's learning about his great grandfather's wave-like life, with each trough and peak so personal and so lovely that, even though he may be so different from me as the sun is to the moon, my heart becomes a straw that sucks up every detail with precision.
The Saint himself is like an oil fire: no matter how much "water" is thrown on him, he keeps burning with pure Love. Many of the miracles, signs, and insights recorded here I would put no stock in if it were not for the obvious holiness that flows from him.
I highly recommend this book for those who are already Christian and want to learn about another great saint, or those who are searching and just don't know what the hell to believe.
most beautiful quality book I own, St paisios is a gem. The Desert Fathers did similar. Still waiting on the prophecies to come true (we're halfway there). Hates cars hates modernity hates Sin, love donkeys, love monasticism, love Hellas. if the great paisios lived to see how spiritually rapped this generation is he would weep. I wish he could have seen Sinai one last time.
