As someone who hasn't picked up a book in years, I found myself unable to put this one down!!
The book gripped me from the start through an excellent plot full of twists and turns. Characters were vividly brought to life along with the streets of Amsterdam I felt transported to.

John Grantham is some case study.. Love how the author reveals in glimpses the vulnerabilities behind the villain. A great read. Can't wait to see what happens next in the sequel!

What a compulsive read! You can't go wrong with an insane villain such as John Grantham - we weren't sure what he was going to do next and it kept the pages turning. The story took the reader from Harrow to Amsterdam. I loved the details of life in that city - quite the travel advertisement, hopefully minus the likes of Mr Grantham! Behind the thrill of the chase was a poignant story of people trying to pick up the threads of their life after heart break and grief. Well worth a read.

An excellent book which has an early twist to draw you into the story. Moves from UK to Amsterdam as more about the characters unfold.
Right up to the end you’re not sure who will come out on top, as the characters each have their own agenda.
The end leaves you wanting more - looking forward to the next book!

Throughly enjoyed this story and the way it unfolded. Great characters and a plot that gets going right from the start. I found the setting , description of places and the characters minds really easy to imagine which added to my enjoyment of Compulsion. Looking forward to more from this author!
