A citadel crowned in ice. An ancient message that contains a warning. The clash of ancient powers.
Nahum thinks he’s accompanying Olivia on a simple retrieval for The Orphic Guild, but finds something far more sinister. Relics connected to the Fallen.
But the Nephilim are spread thin. JD needs an artefact to unlock the Emerald Tablet, and Gabe and Shadow are sent to Egypt to steal it.
Behind everything lurks the threat of Black Cronos. The hunt for the mysterious Comte de St Germain continues, taking Barak and Estelle to the Pyrenees, and a remote citadel on a snowy mountain top.
With the Nephilim tied up with their various pursuits, Harlan, Jackson, and Olivia are vulnerable.
They think they’re prepared. They’re not.
As events connect, everyone must remain vigilant, or they will lose everything.

I'm a writer, a pagan, and a witch, and consequently love all things magical. I write fictional books about witchcraft and the paranormal, and they are jam-packed with fabulous characters, colourful settings, plenty of action, and lots of humour.
I was born in England, in the Black Country, but moved to New Zealand in 2006. I lived near Wellington with my partner Jase, and my cats Sacha and Leia. However, in April 2022 we moved again! Yes, I like making my life complicated… I’m now living in the Algarve in Portugal, and loving the fabulous weather and people. When I’m not busy writing I read lots, indulge in gardening and shopping, and I love yoga.
Confession time! I’m a Star Trek geek – old and new – and love urban fantasy and detective shows. Secret passion – Columbo! Favourite Star Trek film is the Wrath of Khan, the original! Other top films – Predator, the original, and Aliens.
In a previous life I was a singer in a band, and used to do some acting with a theatre company. For more on me, check out a couple of my blog posts. I have also written a blog about how I finally became comfortable about calling myself a witch. It's called Leaning into my Witch.
This is the sixth book in the White Haven Hunters series and it’s brilliant. These stories just keep getting better and better. All the usual characters are here, plus we get to spend some time with the Moonfell Witches, who are fabulous and there’s even a guest appearance from the White Haven Witches ! There is so much going on with several story threads, surprises, potential new enemies, definitely new allies, all of which converge to make an epic finale. I can’t wait to see where these stories go next.
I have read this book and giving my honest review. What a fantastic book again. I love the angels, plus the witches. I could not put this book down, had to start another chapter, as so exciting, on the edge of my seat. Love the surprise in the story, hope we hear more. Not spoiling, you really will have to read the book to find out more. You will not be disappointed. As lots going on, tension, sad but another twist. I love all this series, every book is different and exciting. I really hope you read and enjoy as much as I did.
As always what a fabulous ride! TJ delivers fun, fast action, magic and excitement on every page. Witches, immortals and secret organizations mix with Fallen Angels and Nephilim. I have read every one of her books and she is one author I preorder all her books. You won’t be disappointed. Well researched and exceptionally well written. Once you start you won’t be able to stop.
Totally addictive as all her books. I truly loved it and can't wait for the next. The characters are familiar and feel like people you know since years. The story is exciting and fast paced. If you want to read a great fantasy book, read this one. Highly recommended.
This is the latest book in an amazing series ! I could not put it down ! It grabs you right from the beginning ! It can be read as a stand alone but I personally recommend the whole series to you. The books are well written and the author is a prolific writer, every time I think I have read the best book the next one is even better .
I’ve just finished reading an ARC of Immortal Dusk, the sixth book in TJ Green’s “White Haven Hunters” series and it’s an absolute blast. All the magic and action is there as you’d expect but there are also some very poignant moments and some reveals that I won’t reveal, obviously. This author has a deep knowledge of magic, the paranormal and alchemy and she writes so convincingly that I accept all of that and her historical details as completely true. Wonderful escapism, strangely believable.
Nephilim, Witches, Angels, Alchemy, Necromancy, these a few few of the fabulous things we're exposed to in this terrific read. We have a bunch of individuals trying to get to a rather evil group called Black Cronos. A group who's trying to make special soldiers, metal ones at that, and doing all sorts of vile experiments to attain their goal. Lucien is one of the lucky survives or is he? He's still "different", trying to control the change and wrestling with himself every step of the way. What is cool is that our hero's give him a chance, not trusting him completely, but giving him a chance none the less. That says a lot about them. That they are in fact thieves, well some are, is telling. See, they need the funds from their less than noble profession but they don't steal willy nilly, they are employed, sort of, by Charles who's a bit of an enigma and they only steal artifacts that have gone missing, lost or in the wrong hands. Hands that have the capacity to use them for nepherious purposes.
Black Cronos seems to always be one step ahead of them and when they are scattered round the globe, is it a ploy of Black Cronos? To seperate them? Make them more vulnerable? Aha! That would be telling....Comte de Saint Germain is nowhere to be found and they need to find him, stat! They need to put an end to his labs. So with Olivia and co off to Europe and Shadow and co off to Egypt, they're truly divided. A perfect opportunity to stage an attack perhaps on the ones remaining?
I'm loving the Barak/Estelle dynamic. I love the "softening" of Estelle, her growth throughout the series. In fact, I enjoy how much they all rally around each other, their banter is teasing at times, serious at others but they are steadfast in their support of one another. The romantic elements are subtle, the nuances are subtle but the characters fully fleshed and interesting. It's an intricately woven tale, one that picks up loose strands and weaves them expertly to form a solid mass, a very visually appealing solid mass. Lots of action, plenty of danger and near escapes and a thrilling story that keeps you reading from the moment you start. Looking forward to more
Book 6 and I really believe each book in this series keeps getting ever more powerful and this one is amazing. It is full of anxious moments where we are made to fear for the Nephilim's lives as they battle their enemy the Black Cronos whose leader is the Comte De Saint-Germaine, an immortal alchemist who is extremely rich and powerful. He is also power hungry and hates competition and is creating an army of automaton soldiers who he thinks are indestructible. Many of the Nephilim and Estelle go to France, to the mountains in search of a castle which used to belong to the Cathars, but is now said to be the headquarters of the Black Cronos where their labs are situated and where people are magically enhanced to become soldiers of metal. On the other hand other Nephilim and Shadow are in Egypt attempting to steal some discs from a museum, whilst Nahum is with Olivia searching for a reliquary which turned out to have belonged to a fallen angel, Belial who seems to want to get back into this world. Fallen angels being the forefathers of the Nephilim and very hated by them. This story is very intricate but Ms. Green manages to bring all the threads together to weave a brilliant breath taking magical story once again, and I look forward to the next book in this series!
Twists & Turns from Start to Finish - Just Brilliant
This is T.J. Green’s 6th book in the White Haven Hunters series and I have to say it is the best one yet!
Once again the Nephillim, together with Harlan, Jackson, Estelle, Olivia & Lucien are faced with a massive task in the Pyrenees, involving the “Black Cronos;” the thorn that has been in the Nephillim’s side since the first Book in the series.
This time however, they are split up in groups, in different locations between Europe and the Middle East; each facing their own great danger including a new entity being the Fallen Angel, “Belial.”
However, the common denominator of their individual tasks seems to be the “Black Cronos.) Is this a coincidence? Or were the Black Cronos involved in their separation in order to make the Nephillim and their friends weaker?
They soon realise the task witch they have been given was so complex and dangerous, they decided they had no choice but to call in the White Haven Witches, the Moonfell Witches, and Caspian, Estelle’s brother to help them by weaving their complex protection spells .
T.J Green has certainly weaved a web of action, twists and turns and characters inside the pages of this fantastic book, so much so, it was very difficult to put down.
Immortal Dusk –White Haven Hunters Book 6 – I cannot believe this is 6th Book in this spin off series. It all started very innocently in Book 1 and now it is a full blow of actions. All friends and characters from previous books are developing amazingly with back stories and details of their previous life, new characters blending in seamlessly: humans, witches, Nephilim’s and one Fey. A book full, and I mean full of action and unexpected twists – kept me awake majority of the night as I could not put it down. If you like Witchcraft, Alchemy, Astrology, Gems, Angels, Religions (old and new), Spirituality and many other esoteric references you will not be disappointed. The knowledge of this author on all the above subjects (and also myths and legends not only of the Great Britton far far beyond) makes you believe all the events described are absolutely real. If you are familiar with TJ Green works – well …. This is by far the best book yet (I say this after every book 😊). If you have not yet read any of her books – well…. Let me give you a friendly advice START IMMEDIATELY!!!! you have a lot to catch up on.
‘Well here we have another outstanding book by one of the most prolific writers of this century!
TJ Green will take you in this book, to the deserts of Egypt, where we find out more about the vulnerability of the fabulously gorgeous glorious Nephilim . The Pyrenees - with a White Christmas thrown in- and to the wonderfully misnamed The Retreat. The latter being the secret HQ of the British Intelligence Services Paranormal Division. (Phew!)
All of my favourite characters are here, Shadow, JD, Harlan, Maggie Milne, The Nephilim and more!!! It’s packed with fast action events, nail biting mysteries, and heart warming romantic moments. Yes! Really! In this book you don’t just have one story, you have at least 3 major events going on !
Read it, savour it, and then read it again when your adrenaline levels don’t threaten to shoot so high as to give you a case of the vapours!!! It deserves your undivided attention. Truthfully. Su Luffman.’
Great TJ thanks again, for a fabulous roller coaster of a story! Look forward to more of your wonderful work! Xx
I have read pretty much everything TJ Green has written, and the one consistent thing I can say for sure, is that every new book she publishes is better than the last.
This one is just amazing, with a fantastic mesh of parallel storylines working like a tapestry. The world TJ creates sucks me in every time and each time, I find myself reading until 3am when I should be sleeping, and taking my book everywhere just in case I get a moment to read.
This particular book is part of the spin-off series from the original White haven Witch series. However characters from her original and two spinoffs are drawn into this book to degrees.. no spoilers !
If you have already started reading TJ Greens works, then you will absolutely love this one. If you are new.. TJ Green is one of the best Story tellers around and when you finish one of her books, you will feel like you are at the opera and need to stand and applaud - it's that good !
Wow! This book is totally awesome! The characters are likeable and the scenery sounds beautiful. The Nephilium are searching for where the Black Cronos headquarters are located, as they want to destroy it. The Nephilium are also searching for a member of their group who was kidnapped by Black Cronos. The Nephilium realize that someone is a spy, because the Black Cronos are always aware of where they are. Do the Nephilium find the headquarters of the Black Cronos? Do they destroy the headquarters of the Black Cronos? Do they find the kidnapped member of their group? Is this member found alive or dead? Was he turned into a Black Cronos warrior? Who is the spy? What is the happy surprise that is shared with everyone at the ending of the story? You will find all the answers to these questions and more by reading this enjoyable book. I am hoping for more books in this series.
I volunteered a honest review as I received an ARC copy of this book.
This book is great and so difficult to put down. All our favourite characters from this series are in it and a few more. We have Nahum and Olivia trying to steal a reliquary from a vicarage, for a client but they certainly get more than they bargained for. JD sends Gabe, Shadow, Ash & Nile to Egypt to steal a key that he hopes will open up the secrets of the Emerald Stone again they get more than they bargained for. Things don’t fair any better for Estelle, Barack and Lucien on the hunt in France for the possible stronghold of the Black Cronus. With the Nephilim so spread out they have to pull out all the stops. We have a kidnapping thrown into the mix as well as some bad side effects. This is really a terrific book and one of their best adventures.
This book is a culmination of the previous 5.... or is it? It has been an exhausting, thrilling, exciting fearful ride and a book I could nit put down from the beginning to the end. These characters and their adventures, obstacles, loves with all their twists and turns have left me breathless, but only thirsting for more. I highly recommend this book. This series. The accompanying series if White Haven Witches and most definitely, this author TJ Green! I am on tenterhooks waiting for the release of book 7. Do yourselves a favour and dive right in, to this fantastic, amazing fantasy world. Suspend believe, meet the personalities and .... you won't be disappointed!
Ok, so the above sums up Immortal Dusk in a word, but I’ll attempt to add a few more.
I’ve made myself pace my reading this time and it was worth it. There is so much happening in this book, with many events happening in different places, many threads entwining and all leading to an ultimate, explosive resolution…which still also gives room for a little ‘Is it though? Definitely?’ feeling. There are some surprises, heart warming moments, food for thought moments and all the action you would expect. I’ve loved seeing further development of characters from other books and hope to see much, much more of them in future.
I know I’ve said it before, but T J Green’s books are the books that just keep giving. I’m on my second re-read of this book and the roller coaster rides the characters endure throughout this book are breath-taking and addictive. The juxtaposition of old and new characters really drives the story. I love the powerful trio of the Moonfell witches and the added dimension they give to the narrative. The power struggle between JD the Nephilim and Black Chronos becomes so intense resulting in the Nephilim relying on a power they once rebuked and despised in their bid to survive. This book is thrilling from the first page to the last. I can't wait for the next one.
Action packed with magic, mystery and adventure, in each book in this spin off series we get to know the characters personalities, secrets, hopes & desires and in this book we also get to know some of their weaknesses as well as their strengths. What a journey we are taken on, some questions answered others still to be answered but the journey is exciting, unexpected and wonderfully written, the information and knowledge of TJ Green is immense you could almost believe she personally knows every character in real life. Love that the Moonfell witches have more storyline, hopefully TJ Green will write a soon off for these three witches which intrigue me.more than the White Haven coven.
Well, that was a rollercoaster ride of thrills fights magic.
Its hard to say too much without giving anything away.
All the characters were present, and the Moonfell witches made an appearance and we leant a little more about them, which I just loved and can’t wait for their own spin off. We also had a surprise appearance from the White Haven Witches. There were plenty of surprises along the way and one hell of a fight in one epic final.
An amazing story, continuing the White Haven Hunters saga ! Set in England, Egypt and France, fast paced as usual, also including Moonfell Witches and old friends from White Haven Witches, love when they are part of the story. Also good to find out more about Moonfell Witches and Black Cronus, TJ Green pulls you into the story, just giving away so much, but always leaves you wanted more !!! Roll on the next book..
Shut the front door!!! This book was freaking awesome!!! I could totally see these stories as films and smashing it with the numbers and ratings! The imagery invoked by the written word can be staggeringly powerful when done in the right way. I haven't read one book from this author that I haven't loved but this one...mind blown! So freaking powerful and the ending...as I said, SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!! Don't pass this series by, you're going to love it!
As always a fantastic read - superlative author. Weaving together all the characters, the Nephilim, the Moon Fell Witches, the White Haven Witches, Black Cronos - was a magical read. And with every book we learn more about the people in this wonderful community and the fight against enemies (seen and unseen) that never seems to end. I particularly enjoyed the jewellery intrigue and the surprise for the Nephilim (no spoilers). I hope there will be many more.
Absolutely loved this book, so hard to put down! With the Nephilium seperated across the globe and having their own adventures and each chapter flitting from one group to another it made the pages turn themselves! When you add witches, humans and Black Cronos you are in for action packed reading. I love that the characters and how their relationships are developing seperately. Please don't make this the last in the series as I really want to know what happens in book 7!
Wild Ride! Everybody comes together to fight The Black Cronos. A wonderful, fast paced story, that has three complex story lines that weave together into a very unpredictable and interesting story. Nephilm, witches, fallen angel, alchemy, necromancy all are a part of this trip. What an Adventure!
Another great book by T.J. Green! Sat down and read it in one sitting. Couldn't put it down. I love how all the Witch Haven Hunters and Witch Haven witches all connect with one another. This book has a lot of twists and turns and you just keep reading and reading wanting to know how things turn out. I did get a surprise on one happening but I won't ruin it. LOL I would highly recommend it!
The Nephilim are miles apart in the Pyrenees, Egypt and Nahum and Olivia are retrieving a relic for The Orphic Guild. Combine these fronts and with their house in White Haven and there is chaos. The Count St. Germain is still trying to bring the Hunters down, so they must unite at his citadel to help conclude his reign of terror. T.J. keeps the plot racing and as always worth the read.
If you like a lot of action with characters that you love to root for this is the series for you The WHH are not normal hunters they all have something extra and that brings a lot of entertainment to the story line. Do yourself a favor and start this series from the beginning also check out the White Haven Witches series as there is always character crossovers.
I really enjoyed this episode in the adventures of Gabe, Shadow, and the rest of the group. The story was superb, but the added twists and turns for different characters were incredibly gripping and kept me turning pages even when I knew I should have put the book down ages ago! TJ Green just gets better and better... Thank you for a wonderful world to sink into and explore.
