Author of over seventy books so far. Living on the beautiful west coast of Scotland with my husband, twin daughters and a cat called Mavis, although I am originally from Lancashire in the north of England.

My tastes in all things are eclectic, which extends to my writing. Although I primarily write crime books - especially gangland thrillers - I also write gothic historical romance and fantasy. I publish on Amazon Kindle and some of my novels are available in paperback too. I also have a traditional publishing contract with Boldwood Books.

When I'm not writing - which isn't very often - I enjoy reading Daphne Du Maurier, Edgar Allan Poe, Shirley Jackson, MR James and the Brontes, among many others. I also enjoy swimming, walking and spending time with my family.

Amazing.

I just lot Heather's ability to blend past and present so seamlessly. This book is a perfect combination of historical and present day, romantic and psychological thriller with a little paranormal thrown in. Loved every second of it.

Killing off the main characters and then bringing them back to life is an interesting way to start a book about reincarnation. The author of this book, "Bleed Through" uses several interesting twists during the course of her story. Unfortunately, to describe them in detail would give away too much of the plot. Suffice to say there are a number of unique surprises that are welcomed by the reader, making this book a real standout. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and would recommend it to anyone who wants to be entertained by a story of love, history and intrigue. I am looking forward to future offerings from this writer. I think she has a fine literary future ahead of her.

Fabulous book with lots of twists and turns. I didn't spot the ending at all. A must read for anyone as Heather is such a good writer it makes this book an easy but fully intriguing read.
