A delightful story, great unexpected twists, good character development. Funny, annoying friendships and a lovely sexual spark that hovers between Jared and Jensen. I loved how the relationship was drawn out in that painfully, tempting way, gorgeous. I am a sucker for these two, a freebie that was an absolute winner. A refreshing change to what could have been an over the top angsty melodrama. Great little read and worth thinking about because it's free!

Happily surprised again... For some reason I was expecting wackiness with Jared attracting lunatics left and right, Jensen getting hurt all over the place and an obscene amount of good old smut. What I didn't expect was a well rounded story with the slow build up of a solid friendship and of delicious tension. There was also angst with lots of shades of gray, fun supporting characters, yes...plenty of hotness and a satisfying ending.

After reading four of Fleshflutter's shorter, darker and unreviewably good pieces, I decided to go back and read the ol' goodies because I wanted more. And I'm pretty sure I enjoyed this even more than I did the first time around.
This... absolute divinity, male or female or whatever they are, has a way with both the physical and the emotional that leaves me breathless and amazed whether it's in a dark, nasty, fucked up supernatural context or in a more mundane, real life environment (which they can still bring all the nasty out of). The way they give meaning to the smallest of gestures, meaning that is not always obvious but incredibly real and that not everyone takes the time to write about, the way they make anger and devotion leap up off the page haunt me during breaks from reading and long after I turn the last page. And it completely baffles me how some people only see an emotional, entertaning, sexy, "nice" romance full of drawn out ups and downs in this story, because I see something much more powerful.
ymmv, of course, but (especially if you know and love Sam and Dean, as there's a fair bit of them in here, I'd say, and it's nothing but a plus for me) I'd say give it a shot and pay attention - pay attention to all the nuances and the tight smiles and the rushed breaths, pay attention to the laughter and to the protective friends and pay attention to every word.
I have a feeling I'm gonna read this one (and everything Fleshflutter's written) again in about a year. Make it sort of a tradition.

I don't want to like heartbreaking hookerfic, but I do. I still can't see a Porsche Cayenne on the road without wanting to read this again.

There were some things to like about this fan fiction, the relationship connection between Jared and Jensen was palpable. But it definitely falls into a trope that I really just don't like and doesn't have enough in it to redeem it for me to a great book. I don't have a ton of background knowledge about the two actors this fan fiction is written about. I know they are the leads in Supernatural and that's about it. So I read this more as straight fiction than fan fiction per se.
Still I just don't love the porn star theme. Jared taking a job as a driver/protector for the high end prostitute Jensen was fine. The relationship that developed between the two men was well done. But Jensen stuck to his life choice for too long for me. I wanted their relationship to move them in a different direction early. Granted the angst that developed was great. Definitely heart rending.
All in all the writing was pretty good for fan fiction. The characters had a strong connection. Probably would have had a higher rating from me if the trope was one I preferred. I just didn't understand Jensen's reasoning most of the time.

I manage to read/listen this story about once a year since I found it; which turns out to be about 5 or 6 times, I think. Yes, it's fanfic, and yes, I still love it anyway. A lot of people look down on fanfiction as a lesser quality of writing, but I've found, in some cases, the opposite to be true. There are many published books I've read and wondered to myself how they even passed through an editor.
This is one of two of my all time favorite fanfictions, ironically, both by the same author. (The other is Someone You Might Have Been.) She just has a way with words and is able to evoke great images and emotions with them. I always seem to come back to them, and the fact that I know, unequivocally, what is going to happen in the story has never hampered my enjoyment of it. Is it perfect? No, but it's perfect for me. I can't really even tell you why I love it so much. I just do.

Okay, probably a bad idea to try this having never even seen Supernatural. But it worked with Teen Wolf, you see, so I thought...Anyways, I didn't like this much. Their slow burning romance held zero excitement for me, the whole escort angle felt off, we don't get Jared's back story (it's not GFY, but he dates a girl for many chapters, he seems to be out to his BF, but not to anybody else?). The story needs a lot of tightening and a plot that makes a bit more sense.

Oh well, So I changed the names to Eugene and Jace, because seriously Jensen and Jared will always mean Sam and Dean to me,and they're, well, brothers. But I wanted to read this fic soooo much, so I changed Jensen to Eugene and Jared to Jace.
Yeah, it's either a pure genius or downright idiotic move, and I'm leaning towards latter, cuz I forgot to change the surnames.
But anyway, it doesn't lessen the fact this is a really really good read. I'm so glad I read this.

Good story, but only deals with the "escort" business as a part of the story not the center and it's not fleshed out (consequence wise) and the reader has to play along a bit more than reality says-not a bad thing and the story was a pleasure to read-I didn't want it to end, but I also liked where it ended.

This fic was a freaking roller coaster ride: up, up, up, down, up, up, down, down, down, down, me screaming into a pillow. There were parts where I literally thought the story was never going to end. By the end, though, I was just a mess of feels.

This is the first J2 fanfic I've read. Interesting. Not locked into the Sam and Dean characteristics. I really liked the story, and having that very fine tuned picture of the characters.

Me gustó mucho, pero no era lo que esperaba. Creía que iba a ser un libro gracioso pero no lo es, en ocasiones me puso los pelos de punta, y en otras ocasiones me revolvió el estómago.

I adored this story 😍😍😍, but there was a big problem with the downloading...see below for info. 5 stars from me.
As far as the story is concerned, there were several puddle of goo moments and even some watery stuff leaking from my eyes. Some readers may have a problem with Jensen being a rent boy...I wasn't happy about it either, but it is what it is. Some people do have to make their living as a sex worker, and they're probably not that thrilled about it either; in fact, some men, women and even children may have absolutely no choice whatsoever, but have to do what they can to earn some sort of pittance. It's CERTAINLY not our place to judge them....there but for the grace of God etc., Jared, I just loved to bits in this story.
***Now, the downloading. http://archive.is/i3f5c is OK providing you know that they use an older version of the mobi format and if your experience is anything like mine, you won't be able to finish the story as it makes your tablet/kindle freeze. Amazon have spent a long time investigating this for me, and their eventual solution was to ask me to download the RTF version of the story and send it to my kindle email address, asking Amazon to CONVERT it...as you would a PDF document. It really does work, so after me being stuck at 71% since the middle of April, I've been able to finish the story at last. This has also been the solution for Someone You Might Have Been where I was stuck and frozen at 40%.***

It's real person AU fanfiction, which means it's as close to original fiction as you can get (if you just ignore the names of the characters).
It's a wonderfully complex story about the relationship between a high paid male hooker and an aspiring young actor that takes a temp job as his driver/bodyguard. Unlike other such stories it's not at all from the point the view of the prostitute. All we know about what goes on with the clients is from what Jared (the bodyguard) figures out or happens to witness.
Also a nice MM free story with male escorts is The Condor if you liked this and don't know what to read next.

Fabulous! I just fell in love with this story and these characters. The author takes her time developing the relationship. They begin by working together, then form an ever deepening friendship until they are the most important person to each other. Jensen is a prostitute, Jared his driver and this was handled well. It serves to put them into some intense situations and then ultimately in an impossible situation. I've read many stories where the conflict is false or manipulative or easily solved but the situation that these two are in really is impossible and cannot be sustained long term, which leads to an emotional story.

Jensen(high paid prostitute) is assaulted by his customer so his boss hires jared as his bodyguard. Jared starts to love him. Later they start a relationship. 1 client blindfolds jensen n tries to hurt him which jared sees n beats his shit out. Later jared n jensen fights over it n jared leave jensen. He starts acting in tv but always misses jensen. After 2 years they meet again. Jensen is now a photographer n invites jared to 1 of his exibhition. Both says that they still love each other so they restart the relationship

What an awesome j2 fanfic!! Love me some Jensen! Yum! There is a good amount of angst, considering Jensen is a highly paid prostitute, but I really felt this story. It hit all the right buttons for me. You can't go wrong reading this book.

I really did like the story line and the dialoge between Jensen and Jared. Very well-written free book.
Not being a fan of the actual actors I simply ignored the "fan fiction" side of the story.
