Never a dull moment reading this series by Marcus and Netta, they like to keep us on our toes guessing who could have "DONE IT".
Some of my comments to Marcus while reading this book were:
OOOOOH and the plot just thickened!... and Bloody ......! ( I can't say the name as it might give things away, but what a dirtbag!)....and OH MY BLOODY GOD, that was so good, I had no clue who the suspect was until the very end!....and, you (Marcus and Netta) are just brilliant writing together, you know exactly how to keep your audience captivated.
This is one of my favorite series to read and so easy to devour in a sitting or two. I get excited each time a new book is released.

This is my 2nd book by these authors and I had forgotten how good they were!
I really like Dylan, calm and thoughtful. His team are so good too. They knit so well. New bodies in there though, weighing them up! If you know you know!
This case is dark and troubling but Dylan is on it.
Excellent read.

I really like this series. I like the characters and I feel invested having read the previous 3.
I found the case in this story to be a little lacking, I wasn’t as gripped or invested as I had been in the previous stories.
I’m very interested to see where Dylan/Steve’s relationship is heading and I guess this book was more about the characters lives / wider world.
Still an enjoyable read :)

Another good DI Dylan Monroe read welcoming back Bella and Roy.. the story is gripping from the off and shows more of Dylans troubled personal life...I hope the next one carries on the story between Steve and Simon.

This is the first Marcus Brown/Netta Newbound collaboration I’ve read and I really enjoyed it.
It’s loosely part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone though I will now be reading the others as I want more!
The characters are well written and realistic and the language/slang is full on English which was refreshingly authentic.
The plot was fast paced and suspenseful and I really need to know more about what happens with Steve! Oh and Simon!

There's a killer on the loose. One girl dead and another missing. Both are known to be a little on the wild side.
As Dylan and his team dig deeper into their investigation a cold case pops up. Could they all be related?
The clock is ticking. It's only a matter of time before the girl could reach meet her demise.
Roy is back!!
As far as Steve something just wasn't right about him in previous books. I hate to see Dylan's heart broken but I hope Steve does something so Dylan can throw the book at him and put him behind bars.
Simon I suspected.
Can't wait for next installment!
