Another perspective on the sleep, quite interesting. I actually adored how the book is short, nicely design and comforting in all kind of ways. Now, good night ^^
Buenos consejos muy prácticos, nada fuera de lo común. No soy una persona que sufra de insomnio pero sí de vez en cuando despertarme a las 4 aunque no me impide nada dormirme de nuevo.
My husband bought it for ma as a present and it was a year ago! I decided to give it a chance only a few days ago. I'm not very keen on sleeping, so when I saw a book about sleep I was like: oh, no. Not this. But... I have to admit that I am dealing with sleeplessness. I had trouble falling asleep since I can remember, that is why I tend to put off the bedtime and... wow, this is just what Sarah Jane Arnold wrote a book about. I learned how to stop stressing about going to bed and create a positive atmosphere around it. How being angry or disappointed with myself won't help. Some of these tips are very universal and I hear them a lot. But some were really thorough and mindful.
I really liked the book, it exceeded my expectations. When I finished it in the middle of the night, I instantly fell asleep. I felt calm. Good for me. Good job, Sarhah Jane. And big thanks for my husband for making me rethink everything about sleeping. <3
I feel really bad writing a review so low but I need to say this: it’s an ok book. The tips are good. But that’s about it. It just felt like the entire way through the book it was just spitting facts at me. I often found myself re-reading pages because I would get so easily distracted. It felt like it was a lot longer than it needed to be. Overall some useful tips that are helping a little.
