A little voyeurism never hurt anyone. Especially when it's safe, sane, and consensual...
Which are the three most important rules at the private party Paul and Laken attend in this third installment of The Five Senses series. When Laken's private fantasies play out before her eyes, Paul gives her an offer she can't refuse: watch from the sidelines, or join in the fun…
Which do you think she'll choose?
The Five Senses is a series of five short erotic romances involving the same couple on their journey of reconnecting. Each novelette will showcase a sexy encounter between Paul and Laken, two consenting–married–adults. Within this series of short stories, you will find food play, voyeurism, pleasure with pain, and probably a little kink.
Not intended for readers under eighteen years of age.
I think "stuff your kindle day" is a great way to get new readers. Usually. But not if you make available the third part of the series instead of the first part. In this way, I was completely unable to get along with the characters as I would have liked…. Plus.. Miscommunication trope again..? Why?😩 However, the club scene was exclusive.🔥 7/10.
“Sight” by Minx Noir is a book about repairing a broken marriage. When Paul is told his wife is filing for divorce, he is determined to make her fall in love with him again. Laken is lonely now her children are out of the house, and she just dreams of the life and love she once had. Paul’s plan to woe his wife is to use all five senses to reignite the sparks of their love.
The book has second chance tropes, marriage, erotica, etc. The book was good, just a little repetitive sometimes. I did like both Laken and Paul’s characters; they are both compassionate and adventurous people. I gave it a 3 out of 5 stars.
Very short, but very enjoyable erotic story. Paul is a successful lawyer, but the long hours have driven a wedge between him and his wife, Laken, and she has visited his arch-rival to seek a divorce. The story follows Paul's last-ditch attempt to persuade her to stay. Gently erotic and with characters you can believe in, this is the first in a planned series of all 5 senses.
Paul Hayward ups his game by gifting his wife with a one night pass to a BDSM club owned by a former client. Apparently it's something she's been interested in trying for some time, at least if he could compare it based on her book selections, which were quite revealing. The pair have a VERY good time at the club, one that is eye opening for both AND bring an extra gift for Paul at the end however, the morning comes, and with it, its own surprise....
This is the third book in a series that is about Laken and Paul — a couple on the brink of divorce and they find their way back to their happily ever after.

🔥 4/5
Paul takes Laken to one of his previous clients (porn star now business woman) private club that he helped her win in her previous divorce.
I'm so glad I picked up this little freebie on stuff your kindle day as otherwise I probably wouldn't have stumbled across this series, and what a shame that would be!
Things are really ramping up now as Paul fears it's too late, and Laken makes a visit to her divorce lawyer. I can't wait to see them finally (hopefully) talk things out in the next one
I am loving the different ways of Paul rekindling a love with his wife.! This is another great read that gets really steamy. It is another great read and this leaves on the cliffhanger we all have been waiting for. However, it is still amazing and I am so excited to see how the next one turns out. ❤️
Big big fan of this book. This one has been my favorite in the series so far. I was actually hoping that we would get another chapter for when they returned to Club Savauge, but no such luck. Looking forward to seeing how Laken handles finding out that Paul knew about the divorce the entire time…or if he will even tell her.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
Paul pulls out all the stops to win back Laken, even as she has a change of heart. But one little mistake could still tear them apart. I can't wait for the next installment. The editing could have been better.
These stories are interconnected - a couple trying to invigorate their marriage through various sexy times. It’s an 82 page book and, unfortunately, the actual smuttinness isn’t even that spicy and takes up very little of the book. Not even going to read the other novelettes. Oh well.
Much like the other 2, I am not even done with this yet and I am already running to give this 5 stars. Each book is giving me exactly what I need. There is so much plot yet these novelettes are so short. I am desperate for August when the 4th book comes out!! I have 4 and 5 pre-ordered already LOL
I love, love love this book! I discovered Minx Noir on Amazon Stuff Your Kindle Day and they have quickly become one of my favorite authors!
I was introduced to this book when it was a series of novelettes (The Five Senses) when I got the first book on Stuff Your Kindle Day. Each novelette was sexy, intriguing, intimate, and everything under the sun. I was finally able to read the fifth part when reading the complete collection in Love Me Like You Do.
Love Me Like You Do follows Laken and Paul, a couple in their 40s, who seem to have lost their spark over the years. Laken believes that she is no longer happy in her marriage and makes the decision to begin the divorce process with her husband's rival law firm. Though the rival lawyer would love nothing more than to handle Paul's divorce and beat him in the courtroom, he breaks his attorney-client privilege by going to Paul and letting him know that his wife is seeking divorce advice. Paul takes this information as an opportunity to spice things up and save his marriage.
I thoroughly enjoyed watching Laken and Paul reignite their flame and rediscover the reasons that they love each other. There was a lot of sexual exploration, giving us lots and lots of spicy!
If I could critique anything, I wish there was just a tiny bit more story. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely appreciated the smut (which is the main reason I picked up this book), but seeing a little more into their life would have added the perfect touch.
I always tell people that I am not a fan of third-person POV, but the writing in this book was so captivating that it didn't bother me in the slightest. I was so invested in the story that nothing else mattered.
Sometimes I just need a book that is fast-paced and extremely spicy to get me out of a slump, and this book definitely hit the spot.
Out of all 5 novellas in the series , this one was BY FAR my favorite (outside of sound) I ate this novella DOWN. It might be the fact that I’m a voyeur/exhibitionist myself but either way… I enjoyed every bit of this. This man was determined to get is wife back by any means necessary & I loved that for her.
