The push and pull is infuriating!! omg the drama!!!

Also the bonus content at the end was fun! It was cool to see fan art from other authors especially some that I recognize. I actually found a series that I'm pretty sure I read in middle school, so now I have to find it and read it and see if I remember it lol.

I love this series. I don’t even care what’s happening anymore, who the focus is on, or how long I have to wait between volumes. I just love this series, it’s so good. And I think I’m going to keep this review short, because I don’t want to go into too much detail about what happened this time, nor do I have too much to talk about (I don’t think).

This was a bit of a slow volume, whereas progress shows. Chizu and Ryu are in pretty much the same position as before, with very little-to-no attention given them as a couple. Chizu seems to mostly be thinking about things, about Ryu and what she wants to do.

Meanwhile, it’s obvious that Kento has feelings for Ayane. Ayane, though is hesitant, and trying to avoid him and stop anything from happening. Kento, surprisingly, has a cute, helpful conversation with Kazehaya about it. And Ayane talks with Sawako about some stuff, including her bad self-image.

The big couple, Sawako and Kazehaya, are being stupid. Sawako has no idea what Kazehaya is thinking, doesn’t understand why he’s pulling away from her, when all she wants to do is be closer to him. And Kazehaya is conflicted about her, including kissing her, and is just reacting to everything badly. To sum it up, they’re miscommunicating, or just not communicating at all, which they seem to be very good at, as we know from before the became a couple. They need to learn to just talk things out, go to each other and talk about it if they have a problem. I really hope that they clear stuff up soon.

Christmas is coming, and the volume ends with everyone arriving to their class Christmas party. Which is surely to be good. I’m rather excited for everything, for whatever happens next. I really hope that it focuses on Sawako and Kazehaya, but I would be happy if it focused on someone else, too.

Overall, just very happy and excited about this series.

Oh, there was also a lot of extras at the end of the volume, all of them being drawn by other known mangakas, some of it just pictures of the Kimi ni Todoke cast, but some of it also little comics. Some of them were just okay, but some were also funny, and very pretty, and I find it neat seeing other mangakas, particularly ones that I read, drawing another authors characters.

Ayane es una chica complicada, es fácil identificarse con ella. Yo creo que tiene miedo a enamorarse porque nunca lo ha hecho y no sabe cómo reaccionar a Kento

Kazehaya rompió mi corazón un poco, hay una grieta en el 😢💔
Chizu aún no sabe cómo actuar frente a Ryu... Pero noto que él está más relajado se ve lindo

GAH, what a misleading blurb!!!!!

I can't explain because #spoilers, but please do yourself a favor and just have the next volume on hand! I think this was the worst yet in a cliff hanger. LIKE AHHHHHHHHH!!

I couldn't even appreciate the bonus extras (which I've never seen done in a manga before) because I'm so distraught! And of course, I don't have the next volume directly on hand!

What in the world is happening for our main couple?! I soooooo want to explode, but since everything I WOULD say could spoil it for someone else, I'll just focus on other aspects of the story I liked. LOL!

Kento is such a bean and he is probably one of the sweetest male side heroes (or at least top three) I've read in a manga before. I just want so many good things for him! <3 Ayane's storyline is SO hard to read! *sobs* I'm not quite sure what I want from things that have happened, but I know I want Kento bean to be happy and Ayane to love herself. <3

Despite some of the sad feels in this and the confusion/uncertainty, I REALLY liked the friendship aspect A LOT. We need more of it! I like the boyfriend/girlfriend thing, but the friendship is so sweet.

PLEASE MAKE THINGS BETTER SHIINA!!!

3.5/5 Nice volume however there’s no resolution to anything here. Just builds up the characters problems a bit as we close in on this years Christmas party. The volume also was shorter than usual due to a bonus section. The bonus was all Kimi ni Todoke characters drawn in short skits by other manga artists. This was nice because at least I can find a style I like and maybe find a new series to read from it.

All in all though while enjoyable this one did feel like they were just trying to extend the story unnecessarily.

Ayane and Kentaro on the cover this time. They do look good together but not seeing it as permanent.

Whirl, whirl, twist and twirl, complicate relationships as you go!

The more I read about this series, the more I'm impressed with how complex Ayane is, and the more I'm convinced that there's some past trauma somewhere that I will get to read about soon.

On the one hand, she's really kind in looking out for her friends, and yet she doesn't have any romantic feelings or feelings of compassion for boys. On the one hand she gets many boyfriends and dates out of sympathy for the guys, but on the other hand she can't take any of them seriously or believe that they would really like her. Even Kent, who, as a flamboyant dude, is taking her seriously, she knows he's a good guy and yet still can't trust that he might like her for any reason. There are self-esteem issues at work here more than emotional-connection factors, and I really think that a lot of how Ayane acts is a reflection on her own low self-image. It's a complicated and, in many ways, a very adult issue, which once again lends itself to the maturity of her character.

Super excited for the next volume, so I'll just zoom ahead and read that one now. *prays for the soluation to the Kazehaya-Sawako distancing problem still going on now*

Un tomo súper lindo ...donde nos damos cuenta que las relaciones son más difíciles y complicadas de lo que parecen a simple vista .... y en esta ocasión todos están inmersos en esa cuestión ...Kazehaya está actuando distante y Sawako No sabe que hacer o cómo ayudarle, chizu no sabe como comportarse cuando está con Ryu considerando que su relación de amistad ya no puede ser solo eso y Ayane tiene un nuevo pretendiente pero no está segura de si puede enamorarse ....las cosas se complican de nuevo y se acerca navidad 🎄 veamos como prosigue todo esto jiji
El tomo me hizo sentir melancólica ....y recordar todo lo que piensas cuando te enamoras por primera vez ....de verdad esta historia toca el corazón 💓 y además este volumen incluye un capitulo especial al final donde varios autores de otros mangas hacen tributo a kimi ni Todoke dibujando a los personajes con su toque particular y es hermoso 💖🤩

This volume was really entertaing & I am enjoying getting to know Kento's character better. I hope him and Ayane get together and that Sawako and Kazehaya work things out soon.

I'm a little bit frustrated with the two main characters, but it's been slow from the start so it doesn't really matter I expect it from them.

I hope Chizu and Ryu make up, and that Ayane recognises her own worth so that she can open her heart to Kento (about whom I'm a bit sad that he's ending up with someone- but as long as he's happy :P)

Se acerca la navidad y los personajes tienen distintos dramas internos que, asumo, se resolverán durante la fiesta de navidad que viene en el próximo tomo.

Por un lado, nuestra pareja principal, Sawako y Kazehaya, están muy distantes desde el viaje a Okinawa, donde, si mal no recuerdo, casi se besan. Sawako quiere pasar su primera navidad con Kazehaya, pero él prefiere pasarlo con todo el curso en la fiesta, y ella accede. Nadie entiende lo que le pasa a Kazehaya, está lejano, y Sawako decide preguntarle si hay algo que le está molestando, pero él le dice que no mientras la aleja.

Por otro lado, Kent le confiesa a Kazehaya que le gusta Yano, y quiere entender por qué ella es tan distante y cerrada al amor. Yano está confundida sobre sus sentimientos por Kent, habla con Sawako y expresa sentir envidia por ella y Chizu, ya que pueden sentir, sea tristeza, felicidad o ansiedad, pero sienten algo, y ella nunca ha tenido esos sentimientos por nadie, pero quizá pueda sentir algo por Kent, pero también tiene mucho miedo de hacerle daño.

Chizu está aún muy incómoda con la situación de Ryu, pero no la vimos tanto en este tomo.

Mi opinión: Yano hace varios tomos viene siendo mi personaje favorito, me encanta cómo la están desarrollando, cómo nos muestran sus sentimientos y su interior, cómo adora a sus amigas y se siente incapaz de amar a alguien.

Ahora, este tomo hizo que mi personaje favorito del anime y el que me ha hecho creer que quizá me puedo enamorar de alguien bueno, Kazehaya, me empezara a desesperar un poco. Claramente no lo odio, pero estoy odiando cómo aleja a Sawako, sabiendo que a ella, de por sí, le cuesta acercarse. Quizá debo esperar a ver cómo desarrollan esta lejanía, porque han dado a entender de a poco que Kazehaya no es como todos piensan, es decir, una persona refrescante y seguro de sí mismo, sino que, al parecer, es muy inseguro. Espero se redima en los próximos capítulos.

Non so se siamo davanti a un altro momento drama per la nostra coppia principale, ma spero proprio di no. È interessante la riflessione fatta da Kento sul concetto di "label", etichette che vengono appiccicate alle persone, ma che spesso non hanno niente a che vedere con la vera personalità dei destinatari. "Sadako" è un ottimo esempio di questo tipo atteggiamento - un nomignolo tratto da un film horror per descrivere una ragazza timida ma anche solare e che ha contribuito al suo isolamento -, ma, per certi versi, lo è anche "Kazehaya", ormai diventato sinonimo di "ragazzo figo, popolare, adorato da tutti". Eppure il vero Shota non è così. Forse la stessa Sawako si è fatta l'idea sbagliata. Ma, giunti a questo punto, è Kazehaya a dover parlare. Sawako ha preso il coraggio a due mani e ha provato a chiedergli se fosse preoccupato per qualcosa, ma non ha ricevuto risposta - atteggiamento sbagliatissimo, visto che ha riacceso le insicurezze della ragazza. Ormai è arrivato Natale. Tutti danno per scontato che i due passeranno le feste da soli, ma Shota si limita solo alla festa di classe. È evidente che c'è qualcosa che non va. Vediamo se l'intervento di Ayane è Chizu si rivelerà essere decisivo...

A proposito di Ayane e Chizu: la seconda è ancora alle prese con gli effetti della dichiarazione di Ryu e non sa bene cosa fare, mentre la prima si trova a dover gestire le attenzioni di Kento. Non sa se fidarsi delle parole del ragazzo, se le sue intenzioni sono sincere. Ayane è una ragazza in gamba, tosta, ma anche molto fragile: prima Kento e poi Sawako cercano di farle capire che è una persona meritevole di affetto e rispetto, una persona gentile. Ma lei continua a non ascoltare. Continua a sminuirsi. Ayane non è una che cede tanto facilmente al sentimentalismo, si è aperta solo con le sue amiche più fidate. Spero solo che, prima o poi, deciderà di aprire gli occhi e che imparerà a volersi più bene, perché se lo merita.

En verdad, no entiendo porque Ayane tiene que pasar por esto. Digo, es una persona genial. Lloro por ella 😭😭😭.
La forma en cómo se está sintiendo Chizuru es cómica y tierna🥰🤭. Y Ryuuu, aunque sea solo un cuarto de página, lo ví sonrojarse, que lindoooo😍😍😍.
Ay, estoy sintiendo la misma angustia de Sawako. Kazehaya, mejor que se te ocurra algo!!!!
Mi lindo Kazehaya no sabe qué hacer y eso está afectando la relación con Sawako, aunque sigue queriendola, eso es lindo.

Qué onda con Kazehaya, eh. Evitar a Sawako no le va a hacer bien a ninguno de los dos porque ella siempre sobrepiensa el peor escenario de todo. En sí, debo admitir que Kazehaya no me cae tan bien haha, Kento y Ryu son más interesantes para mí desde los tiempos del anime.

Entonces, eso, ya es Navidad otra vez, lo cual me saca de onda porque no hace muchos tomos fue Navidad y esa vez se sentían más cercanos que ahora, en esta ocasión se sintió reincómodo el ambiente. Como sea, que piense el morro y luego vemos, me voy a cosas más interesantes: Ayane.

Quiero abrazar mucho a Ayane y decirle que está bien no sentir atracción romántica por alguien, que tanto puede o no sentirla y está bien. El asunto es que la base de sus relaciones está en que ella esperaba sentir algo por sus parejas, pero nunca pasa y eso la lastima más de lo que quiere admitir. Por eso me agrada que Kento esté ahí para acompañarla, porque es algo que por algún motivo no le cuenta ni a Chizu ni a Sawako.

This one was fairly easy and fast to read because basically nothing happened.

Kazehaya and Sawako still are awkward together, even though they established Christmas plans. Sawako's inner monologue is a bit much, she keeps on questioning herself and the relationship and when she finally confronts Kazehaya, like typical, nothing happens nor it's settled, but I guess it progresses their dynamics?

Kento is finally pursuing Ayane but we get a glimpse that Ayane has relationship issues? I don't remember this, but I wouldn't mind reading more on that.

The miscommunication. Honestly it doesn’t bother me too much because they’re so young, but I do wish they would just sit down and talk. Kazehaya needs to just be himself.

There’s lots of relationship dynamics changing with Ryu/Chizu and Ayane/Kento too. I’m not sure how I feel about Ayane and Kento yet. I just have a hard time picturing them in a relationship.

The “she’s mine” moment from Kazehaya had me screaming and kicking my feet 🤭🤭

Alurnya agak terlalu lambat untuk volume ini. Tidak ada kemajuan pada setiap karakter, mereka masing-masing sedang tertekan oleh dilema yang berbeda sementara timeline berlalu cepat, sudah mencapai Desember dan natal.

Pasangan utama kita─Shouta dan Sawako─sekali lagi ada masalah komunikasi. It's kinda frustrated. Hope next volume will be better. ;;

Ahhh why must everything be so complicated?? I wonder if it is like this in real life too.

I love Sawako as a daughter and I just want her to be happy so Kazehaya better wake up and stop acting like a fool.

And Ayane, my child, I just want her to be happy too :(
