WOW! Can things get any crazier for Police Chief Cassidy Chambers and her husband, Ty?
A secret part of the past has come knocking on Ty’s door, and he doesn’t know what to do or how to keep everyone he loves safe. While Cassidy is still trying to figure out what Oceans Essence is doing and if there is anything illegal going on, she’s also trying to help Ty with all his endeavors and keep everyone from the danger pressing down on their lives.
Life has become increasingly complicated for Police Chief Chambers. Where she turns there is another crime and they keep coming. Now that her time is running out, will this be the case that will cause devastating events to happen in her and Ty’s lives? Cassidy needs to keep her head in the game, or she might miss something. She can’t let emotions take over. Fortunately, she has help from the Blackout team and Mayor Mac.
I’ve said this before, but I have to repeat it because it’s so true!
Christy Barritt is a truly gifted author, as you feel every emotion these characters experience. Her books are always full of suspense, action, twists, and turns. This one is no different. It is so suspenseful, I had no idea which person was the genuine bad guy. I’m still not sure they got all of them. Could there be more?
So if you want to read and read until you forget that you need to eat or sleep, then this is the book and series you need to pick up!

It was great to have Cassidy and Ty front and center in this third installment of Lantern Beach Exposure, although it wasn't great news for them! Someone from Ty's past shows u in Lantern Beach and wrecks havoc on their lives, putting everyone Ty loves at risk. Not only does Cassidy not know about this woman from his time as a SEAL, Ty cannot divulge too much information, because it was a top secret mission. Cassidy is dealing with the danger to her and her family, as well as a mystery involving hundreds of dead fish. As a bonus, I always love having characters from other Christy Barritt series pop up, this time Sierra from her Squeaky Clean Series. All in all, this was an exciting mystery to unravel. I received a free copy of this book, but the opinions are my own.

Another exciting visit to Lantern Beach! Lots of action, tons of suspense and a mystery that doesn't want to be solved - what more can you ask for in a mystery book?? In this story, Police Chief Cassidy Chambers is faced with an unexplained fish kill on the beaches and a mystery from her ex-Seal husband Ty's past. As it seems that danger is circling them, they work with their friends to try and solve this mystery before it's too late. I received an advance copy from the author but all opinions are my own.

A couple confronts danger head on their island and justice is served.
Enjoyed being back on Lantern Beach with Ty, Cassidy and the Blackout crew. It was an exciting story from start to finish. Ty past came back to destroy him. But he and Cassidy plus his Blackout brothers brought it down. Ty got hurt in the process. But not put down. He and Cassidy had a great team behind them. Looking forward to reading the next one. Hope Cassidy and Ty get the rest they need. They've got great friends to take care of the island.

Again Christy Barritt has written a suspenseful novel. 10 years before Ty had been part of an off the books op to deliver Jasmine from her Middle Eastern evil husband. Jasmine finds Ty on the island and begs him to protect her again. Cassidy is concerned when Ty is severely injured. She is trying to help Ty, butt is pulled in another direction when thousands of fish wash up dead for days on beaches. Barritt is a master of adding other problems to sidetrack the main problem.

Ooo, That Past!
Sometimes our past catches up with us. Christy and Ty had no idea, but Ty’s past was about to slam into their present and seriously endanger the future of their family.
Ms. Barritt writes characters that are so real you want to text them and I just want to book a flight to Lantern Beach - during off-crime season!
Even if you haven’t read the other books in the series, you will enjoy this one, but go start at the beginning and learn what made Christy and Ty who they are today.

Intense action and suspense fuel this latest offering from Christy Barritt. It's always good to visit Lantern Beach even when there's chaos and danger on the island. Learn more about Ty's past when peril lands on his doorstep. As always, expect strength, wisdom and compassion from him and Cassidy as well as their teammates. Bonus: a surprise cameo from another series.

Another great read with mystery, intrigue, suspense, and danger. When someone from Ty's past reappears in his life, his and Cassidy's lives are in danger. There is a mole too, and Ty, Cassidy, and the rest of the Blackout team members have to figure out whom they can trust.
A character from one of Christy Barritt's other series makes an appearance in this story, but you will have to read this story to find out who it is.

My thoughts: Written in Ms. Barritt's face-paced style, readers return to the not so quiet island and not just one crime, but more than one. The story does tie in to an earlier book in the series, but there is also a stand alone mystery and as usual I was kept guesssing. Fans will wonder what is going on and who-dun-it and why! There were some unexpected twists and turns and nonstop adventure. I was given a copy free and all opinions are my own.

There are some really bad dudes who have come to Lantern Beach. One is more ruthless than other bad men. There is even an old flame of Ty that arrives on the island hoping for his protection. Cassidy wonders if her marriage is safe. There is a mole that needs to be discovered, also. Lots going on in this story.

I had an Advance Readers Copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Fallout from a former Navy Seal Mission comes to Lantern Beach following Ty Chambers and his wife, Cassidy, the police chief on the island. They both fear for each other and their young daughter’s safety. Suspense and secrets abound in this book by Christy Barritt. It’s definitely a must read.

Unsteady Ground is a story filled with a lot of action and twists. Having the story centered around Cassidy and Ty, brings back memories of the beginning of the Lantern Beach series. The love that Cassidy and Ty have for each other is felt throughout this book. This is a fast-paced exciting story. I highly recommend it.

This is a great Christian cozy mystery. I love reading about Cassidy and lantern beach. This is an interesting mystery and a great catch up on what's going on with Cassidy band Types and their life in lantern beach. I love how the author ties characters from other novels together in this book!

A great story of intrigue!
Cassidy and Ty have found themselves in the middle of another mystery. While in the Navy SEALS, Ty had a few “off the book” missions and one of them has come back to haunt him and his family. The man not only wants to kill but torture and torment them beforehand. Will the killer succeed? Wonderful story full of danger and mystery!

Cassidy & Ty are up to their necks in international intrigue, with Sahili honcho, the evil Ravi, on Lantern Beach and causing trouble. There's a mole in the FBI, feeding info to Ravi. Christy Barritt never fails to pull the reader in!

This is book 3 in the series, and again the characters (both old and new) have strong personalities which brings plenty of tension. This book takes off fast and the ride never slows down.

A great read as call of her books
I love that Sierra appeared in the book. I hope that she returns to help Cassidy bring down the polluters. It was also good to visit with Cassidy and Ty again.

Ms Barritt is a master of suspense! She draws you in on the first page and doesn't let you go, keeping you guessing until the end.

Wow!! What a riveting book! And what a great plot!! I always enjoy books centered around Ty and Cassidy. They are my favorite characters and I just love Lantern Beach novels. This book is a must read. You will NOT be disappointed!

Good read. There were several iffy moments in this one where the story could have gone either way and I'm glad it went in the right direction.
