"Do it for the Story." That is the phrase that Joel took up as his theme for life after waking up one night from a dream and realizing that he might not have any really great stories to pass on those of the next generation. Throughout "Awake", Joel treats his readers to adventure after adventure and explores what it looks like to actually have our hearts engaged in life and love. You will travel with Joel from the top of a building to the bottom of the earth, and from depths of heartache to the joys of discovering and living out our created purpose. But this book is much more than just a couple great adventure stories. It includes some great insights from Joel on living and loving. This book reminds me of that epic song that a person listens to over and over again because of the way it makes the heart sing. Yeah, it was that good... seriously. :)
This would make a great graduation gift as it is not only engaging, but thought provoking. Especially fitting for those who are facing the big choices in life.
And one more thing - for those who are really tech savy, this book has QR codes throughout to engage the reader even more.
