My doctor just told me I’m pregnant... With HIS babies.
Luke’s the one-night stand I can’t quit. An arrogant prick in a mouth-watering package. I swore I was done with his trance-inducing blue eyes and smug lectures. Then he moved next door.
Now that we’re neighbors, I can’t stay out of his bed. Believe me, I tried.
But this is just fun and games. Here’s why it’ll never work:
1. He’s the new ER doctor in my gossipy small town. 2. He’s twice my age. 3. I keep telling myself I hate him.
Even when he surprises me by showing a sweet side.
Now that I’m having his twins, Could Dr. Cocky become Mr. Right?
This full-length romance is packed with heart and heat. No cheating or cliffhangers!
I liked the concept of this book. I felt like it had potential. But I just hated Luke so much. I know it was a big plot point that he was an arrogant azzhole but the way the heroine kept falling into bed with him after he was constantly critical of her just made me lose all respect for her. Not even his turn around could really save it for me. Not a book I’ll revisit but if you like heroes that are d!cks you might like this one.
I can honestly say I was disappointed in this book. I liked reading it, but it didn't make sense in some parts, and it jumped a lot. The parents pissed me off, and I felt like we were missing a lot.
Easy read…just not very exciting- kept wishing for some big reveal with him being such an ass but the story line moved along predictably. Small town she’s lived here forever he is the new ER doctor. They meet at the bar and there is a one night stand. Then he buys the house next door to her parents. And a one night stand turns into more. He’s sexy but boy is he a controlling, domineering ass. Even from the first at the bar he belittles her and she just brushes it off. But after they find out they are having twins and she is living with him she’s finally had enough. She leaves him and he is miserable. His friends talk him through it and he comes back to her to apologize. He is so much better. One thing I thought was good is that he owned his inappropriate talking and made an effort to be better - not very realistic but was refreshing. Age gap of at least 10 years.
Hea with proposal, wedding and then the two boy babies.

Doctor’s Secret Twins de Crystal Monroe
Argumento:
He aquí por qué nunca funcionará:
A Love Meant to Be - The last thing Hallie expected after her mind blowing night with Luke, was to discover a few weeks later, he was now her next door neighbour. Luke was still thinking about his night with Hallie and was just thinking about how to find her, when he discovered she was actually his next door neighbour. Even though Hallie thought Luke was a jerk, she just couldn’t stay away from him, which led to a wild and wonderful afternoon romp.
However, what neither one of them considered would occur from their trysts, was a pregnancy. Whilst they were shocked with the news, they realised they were happy and made the decision to co-parent. Unfortunately, not everyone was happy with that decision, but spending time together made them realise they had feelings for each other.
Just as they decided to embark on a relationship, a misunderstanding between them, caused Hallie to walk away. It took them spending time apart and intense soul searching, for them to realise they couldn’t live without each other. They finally acknowledged their love for each other and found their way back on track towards a happily ever after.
This was a well written emotionally challenging story, with HOT sexual encounters, romance, back and forth drama between the characters and an interesting storyline filled with substance and grit, that had me glued to the pages. Overall, this was an amazing book to read and I can say Crystal Monroe is definitely becoming one of my favourite authors.

I really enjoyed this. Hallie is 22 and knows what she wants to do with her life - write! But she isn't ready to share that with anyone yet. Being pressured to run her families hardware store she is venting to her girlfriend and having a much needed night out. Dr Luke Beckett, is out at the bar too, trying his best not to eavesdrop but he can't take his eyes of Hallie. In the market for fun not a future, he thinks Hallie is perfect for the night and as he is passing through town (unless he aces his interview) what could go wrong?
These two have great chemistry and really good banter. This is an age gap romance, but Hallie and Luke just fit. Luke is jaded and gaurded due to his previous relationship and Hallie is young and naïve, she has yet to master verbal communication and these two things mean that things aren't going to run smoothly.
Really enjoyed the pacing, the steam and the HEA.

Luke is hired in small town Peachwood as a surgeon, seeking a new beginning. While in the local bar, he overhears Hallie's conversation with her friend. He's intrigued & can't help it but he wants to meet her. As with some relationships, this one starts on the wrong foot. He's opinionated & the way he jokes about her useless degree, she takes it to heart & is turned off by this characteristic trait of his personality. However, the intensity of the heat between them throws them together more often. Who would have thought building a parade float would help them bond & he has a better understanding of small town acceptance? A great ending with this loving couple remaining in a small town with twins to complete their family unit & to fulfill their HEA. A very sweet story even with all of the hormonal weeping!

Luke has worked in the ER at a hospital in Atlanta. He has had a bad breakup with a coworker and needs to go where no one knows him and basically start over. He meets Hallie, the night before his interview at a new hospital, in a bar where she is with her girlfriend. She throws caution to the wind when she is attracted to him and leaves the bar with him. Well, he scores on the interview and is hired right after. When he moves to her town, unbeknownst to her, he is the new nextdoor neighbor. When he finds that she is pregnant, she wont confirm that the baby is his. But they begin to spend a lot of time together and maybe finding out about the missing father is not that important.

Hallie recently graduated from college. She lives with her judgemental parents. She is not all the way sure what she wants in life. So on her night out. She meets Dr. Luke Beckett at the bar.
Luke is an ER doctor. He comes to the town for a job interview. In the process he meets Hallie. They have an instant attraction to each other.
The sex between them is 🔥🔥🔥. But when they talk they butt heads. Hallie eventually falls pregnant with Luke's twins. They have their own personal struggles to deal with.
When they figure it out it's amazing. I enjoyed the epilogues at the end of the book.

Though they have great chemistry, Luke is very condescending and mean at times. It was not exactly intentional, but hurting Hallie repeatedly like that—just wow. She may be immature at times, but she is 22 and I am glad she stands up for herself with parents. She does not do the best job of standing up for herself with Luke. I wish her parents’ change of heart was shown, not talked about after the fact. I wish Tamara had been in the story a little more. I like that Hallie recognizes her own immaturity. I like Luke getting real friends.

There's a fine line between love & hate - which side of the line are they on?
What a fantastic age gap romance. Hallie is the one night stand that Luke can't forget & now he's moved to her hometown. He's twice her age, sexy as sin & Hallie can't seem to stop from falling into his bed. Their feelings are intense what happens when she falls pregnant? Will Hallie & Luke get a HEA or will his arrogance destroy it all?.

Luke and Hallie meet in a bar. He was listening in on their conversation and when her friend left to go to the bathroom, he made his move. That starts their beginning but they both are dealing with emotional baggage that comes into play when they find out Hallie is pregnant, and Luke starts to overthink. Will their insecurities break them apart. This story had me in their corner to get their chance for happiness.

Hallie and Luke share an amazing night together and then go their own ways. However, things change when Luke moves next door to her. Its harder than they thought to stay away from each other. Its not long before they are giving into each other again. Will this turn into some serious between them?
This is an amazing story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

I'm not sure. I didn't love it, neither hate it. A lot is missing, for example the parents. They're toxic as hell but why at the end they seems like cool?
Luke, at times I felt like he's a bully. I mean, Hallie is 22 years old, just graduate college. She's young to not explore option for the future. Plus if she wanted to be find someone and become housewife, so what? It's a noble profession. Luke's confession why he's a bully? Not a great one.
Hallie's also bit immature, but then again she's 22. But sometimes I felt she's too easy. So... just a weird mixed feeling about this book.
OMG, how sweet! I loved Luke and Hallie from the moment they met at the bar. Luke was a seemingly unrelenting tease who loved to pick on Hallie but she got more than enough grief about her life plan from her parents. I'm glad they were able to work it out to get their happy ending with the help of several friends.

5 Stars I received a free copy of the steamy Peachwood, Georgia set novel Doctor’s Secret Twins: Doctor’s Down South: An Age Gap Romance by Crystal Monroe, and this review was given freely. Sarcastic banter, unfiltered speech, a couple of extended intimate scenes, some irony, and the great couples we have gotten to know in the series. Instant chemistry leads to recent grad and budding novelist Hallie’s first one-night stand, but the new ER’s Dr. Luke Beckett’s arrogancy and critical teasing backfires offending her and pushing her away when they both want her to stay.
Hallie and Luke’s story start when he has a horrible breakup and applies to be an ER doc in Hallie’s town. He is at a bar when he notices her and they have a one night stand. But then she finds out he’s her neighbor and they seem to keep finding themselves in bed together but when she finds out she pregnant with two will he be ok with this and get to be a family or will his past breakup keep them apart.

This book is a good story that will have you hooked from the beginning until the end as the storyline flows throughout the book. It's a one night stand ends up more than Hallie bargain for and Luke interviews for a er dr position in the small town where everyone knows your business but will it destroy them?.

Small-town at its finest Hallie and Luke make an adorable couple I love a good story with such well written characters and town descriptions that you feel like you could be in that town with them and this book has that.
Hallie and Luke are a cute couple with great friends. I liked that side characters had such positive impacts on them. Sometimes the fishbowl can be okay.
If you like small town romance with lots of love and people knowing people this is a book for you.
It was a good read.

I just love the Peachwood series, those doctors have a way of stealing the ladies hearts that gets me each time.
Perfect place to heal a broken heart and love the community sprite how they all rally around each other and warmly welcome newcomers instead of being wary of them.
Looking forward to the next book in the series, wonder who it will be?.

I think I'm living on a different planet to everyone else when it comes to this book. The guy is a dick head from the very moment you meet him and he doesn't really improve and his big reveal reason for it was really nothing and no excuse. Even though its a short read it dragged and the writing style was very amateur-ish with a lot of pointless filler. Nothing really happens either, so no, I didn't enjoy and I can't fathom why everyone else did!
Luke and Hallie have a nice story with an age gap. Their story is so well written that you were glued to the pages and had a hard time putting your book down, there's drama, an instant connection and secrets, and lots and lots of hot moments.

I liked this story very much, the plot seemed good and the way it developed. Hallie and Luke were meant to be together, everything started as a one night stand, they realized they were neighbors and the romance began, even if they did not notice. The most beautiful twins they had and the happy ending, after so many complications.
Hallie is getting a lot of beef from her parents about her chosen major she had chosen in college. She has a hidden dream that no one knows about. Luke is older and has his own issues, and he loves seeing her get all heated up when he gives her advice. But he may be the one who needs advice in the end.
