Messianic and menacing, these poems divine from the mundane something both mythic and tragic.

This was an easy book to read; an easy book to love. I liked the repetition used by the author, titling many of the poems: "When This _____ Burns." The repetition gave me a sense of movement towards a common purpose within the book. Overall a quite pleasant comfortable read that I will recommend to friends.
