Osprey Frontline Colour #4

B-26 Invader Units over Korea

Rate this book
Although a hangover from World War II, the seemingly antiquated B-26 Invader proved to be one of the hardest worked assets employed by the UN forces in Korea for the duration of the conflict. Over 200 bomber and reconnaissance variants saw action in Korea, and many were adorned with some of the most colorful nose art ever carried by American combat aircraft in any war-this volume features an impressive gallery of this artwork.

A pretty good book, chock full of many photos, many in color, of the B-26s in Korea during the war. The photos were twice mis-captioned; however I know enough, now, to spot & correct in my mind those oversights. Still, a fairly thorough read.~ a good re-read as well!
