This book was pretty good overall. Parts of it were fascinating while others just dragged. It's a mixed bag of short stories and some of the subjects were more interesting than others. Part of the issue (at least for me) is that any of the really newsworthy figures were long out of the public eye by the time I returned to Pittsburgh. I am guessing anyone born in the 50's and 60's would find this more entertaining than I did. However I do not regret reading it as I definitely learned a few new bits about this town I now call home.
