About the author

David Pratt, author of The Impossible Takes Longer: The 1,000 Wisest Things Ever Said by Nobel Laureates, is Professor Emeritus at Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. A passionate scholar who reads in several languages, he has assembled a collection of 8000 quotations from Nobel Prize Winners culled from their works. He also is the author JFK, Oswald, Cuba and The Mafia: A Chronological History which is a time-line of established facts about the assassination of President Kennedy.
