A gorgeous, naked god.

Rowan is magical. She is trying to cast a spell of protection over the orchard and land behind her house in order to save it from developers. Developers who just happen to be her family. They want to tear down nature and put up houses. Unfortunately, her protection spell isn’t the best, and what she ends up doing is summoning a Celtic God named Gwydion. First of all, he’s a little ticked off that there is no “sacrifice” waiting. Second, she can’t tell him what she summoned him for, since she did it by accident. Finally, he is appalled at the state of the earth, polluted in every aspect.

Rowan wants nothing more than to send him back to where he came from, but Gwydion has to stay until he completes the task he was summoned for. When he has the vines in the forest tie her up (kinky man), she wants more than ever to either send him away or grab him and keep him. She explains the problem about the land, but when he asks again about a sacrifice (sexual, not blood), she is offended he would think she would whore herself out.

They do work together to try to find a solution to the land problem, even as she falls for him and he grows ever weaker from the polluted earth. There are “consequences” of some things he does (healing a fox she hit with the car) that made me smile.

This is an easy read, without a lot of angst. I do wish we got to see a little more of her brother Reese and find out why her family is like they are. I loved the ending, so sweet.

Delightfully fun, original and sensual is how I found Sensuous Summoning. As with all of Bronwyn's works, it did not disappoint. She has created yet another world of mystery, magic and hotness for all to enjoy!

Rowan is very determined to stop the building of unnecessary housing on the land near her home. All out of ideas, she uses magic to try and prevent the land from being touched. She believes something is happening once she completes her spell. But did not expect what she saw form in front of her very eyes. Wow!

Gwydion is a Celtic god and has not been upon earth in too many years. When he is summoned by accident, he is still bound to help the wench. He has much to learn for the atmosphere and basically everything has change since his last visit. Nothing in his current surroundings are pure any longer and it weakens him. But he will not stop until the task in complete.

Together Rowan and Gwydion research ideas and do whatever is in their power to save the land. That includes indulging in some irresistible sex and conjuring up a guarantee to make the land untouchable!

If you are looking for a quick, steamy paranormal read, then this is the book for you. The sex that takes place is amazingly written, it’s not crude or anything like that. There is also a story that takes place before and after the sex happens.

While the story was good itself, I was left wondering more about the backstory of each of the characters. I am unsure if this is a series book, or a standalone. It felt as though the character’s lives started when the book started. You find out a little bit of Rowan’s back story, or at least about her family, but besides that there isn’t anything there. The same goes for Gwydion, we know that he is a god who was summoned, but we know nothing else of his history.

I think that if there would have been more added, this story would have been even better than it was. But like I said earlier, if there is another book in the series that could answer those questions, then I need to get it!

Another sensuous original story by Bronwyn.

When Rowan uses magic to help save some land from development, she actually conjures up a God....Hot Damn...how come that never happens to me ;)  And what a way to start a story...a little magic, a little light bondage and a demand for a sacrifice.  Rowan and Gwydion have great chemistry.  The love scenes and the trail these two go through to have the happy ending is at times heartfelt, sensuous and fun.  I love the idea that she used the plight of so many of our wild areas as a basis for her story.  I won't give away how everything comes to fruition but this is another keeper from Bronwyn!!

Entertaining if short 'romantica' (erotic romance).

Likeable characters but I thought the environmentalism aspect was heavy handed and a bit shallow. Perhaps I wouldn't have felt that way if the story was a bit longer. I just didn't feel I knew the characters enough to believe he would give up everything for her in such a short time.

Otherwise, it was a pleasant, sexy read that will make a treadmill/elliptical workout go faster.

I really liked this story. I almost liked it as much as the first story but not quite (hence it only getting 4/5 stars). I would have liked a little more development between Gwydion and Rowan but it was a short story and I can understand that. Overall I still really liked the story and the relationship between Rowan and Gwydion. I thought it was a great second story in the series and I will be buying the next book in the series when it comes out. I'd recommend this story. :)
