Having survived an abusive marriage and escaped the vengeance of her pride for the death of her mate, feline shifter, Lillian Oremun has rebuilt her life with a new identity in the shifter town of Malsum Pass. She owes the wolf pack her very existence, so when Lily becomes the prime suspect in a murder investigation and subjects the town to police scrutiny, she will do anything to clear her name – even team up with an annoying bear shifter who stirs up desires she’d never thought she’d feel.
Bear shifter, Christian Black chose to remain in Malsum Pass to reclaim his life. Living close to Lily, a beautiful if prickly feline, was just a bonus. Determined to win her for himself, he quickly discovers his usual lines won’t work with this female. He needs to up his game… Maybe even take on a killer.
I love all the residents of Malsum Pass and Lily and Christian's story is as exciting as the very first book, featuring Tara and Riley. Kimberly Forrest is an excellent writer who captivates your attention from the first page and you are sorry when the book ends.
Lily has been excepted as a pack member for some time, having run from her pride and sought refuge from the wolf pack in Vermont. The last thing she wants is to be involved with any man, shifter or human. Christian has come with his brother to see what had held him to living in virtual isolation for years. Little did he know that a kitty could bring down a big bear. I highly recommend this book and suggest reading all the rest of the series if you liked this one, you will enjoy each one as much as this.
She was abused by her husband before she escaped with her sister and now someone is killing men and it all points to her. He stayed to get himself together and to beat the booze. He never expected to find love but his bear chose the sassy jaguar. Now they need to prove she is innocent before the killer strikes again. This book is from the series Malsum Pass by the author.
It is alway great to visit Malsum Pass. Lily has been living in Malsum Pass after she escaped an abusive husband. Christian hopes Malsum Pass will help him escape his demons, as it helped his brother Sebastian. Lily doesn't want to be attracted to Christian but fate has other plans and these two can't fight the attraction. They make a great couple and it is really nice when Lily realise that the pack has accepted her. There is mystery and romance and a happy ending.
