The sixth installment of The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter begins right where the fifth part left off, with Chloe and her friends running for their lives as they escape the dungeons below Trevor’s home. Chloe lights their way through the darkness, but they emerge into a bloody battle with her vampire nemesis and his minions.
Even though Chloe has a battle on her hands, she is still a teenager and thinking about teenager things, like which of the handsome hunter boys she will choose.
This installment will leave you wanting more as Chloe and the other vampire hunter’s take their final stand with Trevor. Who will walk away alive, who will die, and where will they go from there?
Jennifer Malone Wright is best known for her best selling novella series, The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter. Other works include the follow up to The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter series called The Arcadia Falls Chronicles, The Graveyard Guardians series and her full length vampire novel called Savior (A Higher Collective Novel).
She resides in the beautiful mountains of northern Idaho with her husband and five children where she practices preparing for the zombie apocalypse. Just kidding!
But seriously, between the craziness of taking care of her children, Jennifer has little time left for herself. The time she does have left, usually leading far into the night, is spent working on her beloved fiction or chatting with her equally crazy friends.
Once again, I am amazed by this series. After finally escaping/being rescued from her father, Chloe now has to rebuild her life. Her new allies from her time living with Trevor are starting to rebuild their lives and become part of her community. It is a journey that is just beginning, but one I am looking forward to watching unfold. The only issue I had with this installment is that I have finished it and have to wait for the next one to be published. I tend to be impatient. If you have been reading this serial novel, you will love this installment. If you have not, I highly recommend downloading the first installment and giving it a go. It is free!!!!
I waited anxiously for the release of the 6th part of The Vampire Hunter's Daughter and I was not disappointed. As Chloe and the other hunters continue their battle against the Vampires, the story takes quite a few unexpected twists and turns. There's adventure, there's a battle - and there's definitely a whole lot of love! I can't wait for the Arcadia Falls series to follow!
While this is short, it's well-written and very captivating. The ending leaves you wanting more, yet finishes up nicely the story. The ending did kind of drag on, but it was still well-written.
One of the things I enjoy most about the writing of Jennifer Malone Wright is that her stories always hits the ground running when it comes to action and that is the case with "The Vampire Hunter's Daughter, Part VI." Each book is like a chapter in the story and this one is a pivotal moment for our characters.
Chloe, Drew, Oscar and Alice are on the run from her craze vampire father, Trevor and his minions. As they manage to make it through the caves and come above ground, Oscar calls Gavin for a ride. Then, the fight begins because Trevor is not about to allow his ticket to walk in the sun from escaping his grasp especially since he is so close to her sixteenth birthday, the moment he has long awaited. A battle ensues and Trevor is left chained to a tree to face his fate in the sunlight. Not bad, if you like your antagonist extra crispy!
When they get back to the Hunter's compound, Chloe and Gavin are admitted into the hospital in order to get their bullet wounds taken care of. Chloe realizes she can never have a future with Gavin because Drew is the only one who risked everything for her. But, she must tell Gavin first. Since he is still recovering she does not want to upset him yet. Drew on the other hand is not too pleased with Cloe's daily visits to Gavin.
Oscar is also healing from his ordeal and although Alice is now free, she is depressed and at a loss as to what to do with herself now that Trevor is dead. Then, a missive comes requesting Alice's presence at the reading of Trevor's will. No one is about to allow her to go it alone so they accompany her. Alice almost gets everything including all of Trevor's houses around the world and his money. His clubs are given to Constance.
Drew and Chloe are now free to explore their feelings for one another at the Arcadia Falls, which by the way will be the title of future installments of this series. Just when Chloe believes her future with the hunters will be somewhat normal, it is announced that war with the vampires is on the horizon and it is time to prepare. She gets all of this news on her birthday.
This was another good read in the series and as always it is quite short. My only complaint once again is that I wish the novellas were a book rather than chapters.
Omg another awesome read by Jennifer Malone Wright! All.of them in the series have been great. Mrs. Wright never disappoints. She brings you into the story and makes you feel like your one of the characters and experiencing the whole thing with them. The action had me talking to myself and cheering for the hunters. Much to my family's amusement lol. I HIGHLY recommend this story along with the whole collection. Happy reading.
I enjoyed the sense of closure at the end of this final volume of the Vampire Hunter's Daughter. It's clear there's more story to be told, and some characters don't yet seem as important as they're sure to be. But the main storylines have reached a pleasing conclusion making this a satisfying place to finish the novel.
10*s. I purchased my copy of this installment from smashwords.com and I am here to give my review.
WOW, this just blew my mind away!! Lots of stuff happens and Chloe turned 16 and has found a happy medium with her relationships!! A MUST read story for all ages!! Thank you, Jennifer, for this amazing installment!!
TEAM DREW!!! I was happy to read and review this book!!!
I can't tell you enough how much I love this series!! There are some things that happen in this part that I have been waiting for since part 1..Chloe try's the unthinkable and finally gets what she has been wanting to do for a very long time! Or so she thought.....This is a must read series!!!
OMG! Loved this book!! It's so not fair that we have to wait for the next installment. Loved how the storyline pulled together, love the characters old & new. So anxious to see what the future has installed for this group!
There are so very many unanswered questions even with the conclusion the characters had hoped for. Except, this part of the storyline exposes mysteries still to come and a really good lead into the next series! All my reviews are always voluntarily written.
This book had just the right amount of action. I never understood why the young ladies can never make up their mind between two guys that they supposedly love.
Nope, Nope, Nope I still refuse to accept that this is the last installment in The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter series )-: The only comfort in all this is knowing that “The Arcadia Falls Chronicles” is soon to be on it’s way for all of us to follow, where The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter has ended….
So with that being said, we continue. Close one book and open the next.. In this installment Chloe attempts her escape from the clutches of her father. Will she and her friends successfully pull it off?? *bites her tongue* no I won’t tell you what happens *insert cheesy angelic grin*
Chloe also finally chooses between her two guys, Gavin and Drew!!! Hummmm which will it be?? And you guessed it, I’m not going to tell you the answer to this one either. *flutterz wingz*
Ah yes, then there’s the question still remaining about Gavin and Drew along with a new one… have they been able to resolve the differences between them??? Yes, another unanswered question from me.
Chloe continues to grow in her character, but most importantly she continues to grow and mature as a vampire hunter. One with powers unlike no other!!!! Her Destiny awaits her.
Thank you so much Author Jennifer Malone Wright for this spectacular, gripping, action packed series that you have created for all of us to enjoy. I eagerly look forward to the next series that you have in the works for us… “The Arcadia Falls Chronicles” *angel hugz*
Short book=Short review Once again, I was dazzled by the sequences of intense action. As far as that goes, no one can say Ms. Wright is squeamish. I must also say that I greatly appreciate how she doesn't shy away from having her characters use modern weapons either, something a lot of writers seem to do these days.
Still, I must say I got mad at the hunters. Again. It had to do with killing the vampires. Due to an excess of DOCTOR WHO watching and a stern Christian upbringing, I have very strong feelings against genocide. It seems that the vampire hunters don't even have respect for their quarry, which really gets on my nerves.
This is the sixth and final installment in The Vampire Hunter’s Daughter Series. We left off in the last one where Chloe and her friends were trying to escape the dungeons of Trevor’s castle after finding out what he in had in mind for her. Chloe leads them through and out to freedom only to be chased down by Trevor. Will Chloe and her friends have the strength to defeat Trevor? Will Chloe finally accept the fact that she loves Drew more than she does Gavin? Will they be able to get along long enough to help Chloe out?
This was a great ending to a great series. I truly enjoyed reading the story of Chloe right from the beginning where she found out she was a vampire hunter who’s father was one she is trained to kill. Her struggles with being in a new home, surrounded by people she doesn’t know and learning to be what she truly is a vampire hunter. There are the typical teenage dramas in there but they just add that much more to the story besides what’s a book about teenagers without the typical teenage drama
If you are looking for action, love, and paranormal than this is the perfect book for you!
I really enjoyed all the parts of Vampire Hunters Daughter.. And will definitly check out more by this author in the future :) If it get`s available as one big book, I will probably purchase it :D
The last part was one of the best. Not if you read it as a stand alone. Since you don`t get told what happend earlier.. But if you already read the recent parts.. This is an awesome book/story.
Full of action from the beginning. And in the end the happy ending we all love <3 And I totally love the characters.. Or I love Drew :P So cute haha He was the recent I had to read this books.
And as far as I understood there will be a sequel series.. And hopefully there will be loads of Drew in it :P Anyway.. So looking forward to reading it :D Anyway.. Coz the books are really well written :)
Well, I'm proud of myself for making it through the whole series because I really didn't like any of the books. The only reason I even kept going was because they all came together in a collection. None of the characters are very likable. The plot jumped around a lot. The main character gets this magical bow and arrows that she uses once and then it literally sit in her room gathering dust for the rest of the series. Half of this book revolves around the reading of the will which had more to do with Alice than Chloe, and it was mostly irrelevant and could have all been summarized in one page. She keeps going on about hating vampires and wanting to kill them all and yet when she's told to prepare for war she starts whining because "I thought it was over" after killing one or two vampires.
This is the 6th installment to The Vampire Hunter's Daughter Series.
Chloe and her friends are still trying to escape from Trevor. Trevor has been planning Chloe's destiny since before she was born and is not going to let her get away without a fight. Chloe is about to embark on the the two biggest battles of her life: Hopefully, taking down Trevor, and deciding which boy she will give her heart to.
Loved!!! This installment had the most action and twists out of them all. The author has me hooked. I can't wait to see what happens in The Arcadia Falls Chronicles.

I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review. I think that this was my least favorite book in the Vampire Hunter's Daughter series, not because it was basic just felt like for the lat book it was anti- climatic. I feel like there was lots of things going on to get the readers emotions going but it just didn't connect. I personally couldn't connect to what I was reading. But it was still a good book and I am glad the Chole finally grew some balls and made a decision then let a certain someone know that she wanted him. So not the best in the series but not a terrible read. I can't wait to start Arcadia Falls and find out what has happened to our characters now.
I thought this was a cute story about a young girl with a vampire father and a vampire hunter mother. This makes her quite unusual. Chloe is young and inexperienced. Her mother has hidden her away most of her life and she didn't know anything about vampires or vampire hunters. Her first experience with them is when vampires enter her home and murder her mother in front of her eyes. She then goes to live in the vampire community with her grandfather and a cute guy named Drew. Through out this series she learns and grows into her powers and her relationship grow and change too. I thought it was a cute series and enjoyed reading each of the mini series books all in a row.
AMAZING as I knew it would be! The Vampire Hunter's Daughter series is entertaining, addicting, & Part VI does not disappoint!! Not that I thought it would! :) It's just as AMAZING as I knew it would be! A must read indeed!! And after finishing this series you should definitely read Jennifer Malone Wright's novel The Birth of Jaiden! If you enjoy this series as much as I did...then you will love her novel too!! ;*D I'm sooo happy she will be bringing us more of Chloe & her friends! I'm looking forward to her new series Arcadia Falls!! Keep your eyes open for it too! =)
For some reason I thought I had already finished this serial novel but I guess not. I really enjoyed the previous installments and didn't realize this final one was actually just a lead up to another series.
This was a good addition to the story but sad that there wasn't a definitely ending to it. It will be interesting to see where the author takes the story from here. I am hoping Chloe and her friends are even more fierce and kick butt than previous stories.
Great series of short stories about a young vampire hunter named Chloe. The reader becomes quickly enthralled in the story at the very beginning and must read the next one immediately when finishing the last! I particularly loved how the real world entwined with the vampire world & ways. The Community became one where I could live & work! Great job Jennifer Malone Wright- I look forward to the Arcadia Falls series next...can't get enough of Chloe!
I really enjoyed the whole mini series. In Part 6 Chloe is living back in the vampire hunters community, along with Alice and Oscar. Alice is summoned to the reading of the will of Trevor which he leaves her pretty much everything. Drew and Chloe finally become a couple even though we all saw that coming. By the end we find out that Alice and Oscar have special powers that will help the hunters in their war with the vampires. This is a must read and I cant wait to read the next set of series
Chloe goes against her father and his band of vampires in her escape from his home with Drew, Alice and Oscar. She knows that she has to kill her father and face him when the time comes. As her 16th birthday comes she gets a few surprises they she likes and one that she doesn't. A reminder that the war on vampires is no where finished and had only just scratched the surface. She will have to train harder than ever before so she knows that she is ready to face them again.
