This was a intense story. She was bargained away in marriage to a rival family for peace. She was literally dragged out of bed and taken to the courthouse to marry him. Pyotri is a bravata son, but he deals with the legitimate side of things, he married her to save bloodshed. Between the misunderstandings they eventually find love and loyalty. They also find out her mother was a ruthless woman only using her as a decoy to destroy the other family. But it does end in a HEA.

Alina (h21) awakens to find herself being forced by her mother, head of the Salkov Bratva, to marry Pyotr (H41), one of the Antonov Bratva brothers. Neither wants to be married to the other and Alina tries to escape her new husband to no avail. But as the two spend time together, they begin to share secrets with one another and find common ground in their abusive pasts. Pyotr has tried to distance himself from his family’s Bratva role, but he finds himself stepping up to protect Alina when danger and betrayals arise. Ultra-hot and steamy age gap Bratva romance with plenty of violence and danger. Loved that Alina found her own strengths and the whole ‘secret for secret’ sharing that allowed Pyotr and Alina to understand one another. My only complaint is that ‘mommie dearest’ didn’t get the ending she truly deserved.

The third Antonov brother

Pyotr is forced to marry the decades younger Alina to prevent an all out Bratva war in Moscow. Pyotr wants nothing to do with marriage or the Bratva, but love and loyalty for his brothers encourages his duty.

Alina is the last Sakarov daughter to marry and she does not want a forced marriage. She appears meek because of her cruel mother, but when finally taken to NY, she fights to escape Pyotr.

I really love those enemies to lovers forced marriage story transformations. You will love both Pyotr and Alina. He needs her light and she needs his strength. The story twists are standard by mafia romance standards, and that’s why we keep reading them.

Alina wakes up to her mother forcing her into a marriage with Pyotr Antonov of the Antonov mafia. She wants to run especially when she finds the hulk of a man looking less than pleased with the arrangement. Her scrupulous mother, the head of the Salkov Bratva has no plans of relenting and she marries Pyotr. She does not expect to find herself falling for Pyotr or that he treats her with such care. Both have more in common then they think and are settling in until both are betrayed in a way they never saw coming.

I enjoyed this one, very different than what I expected. I felt for Alina, her mother made her life hell. Pyotr was terrific and the chemistry between these two was sizzling. Will definitely read more in this series.

Fantastic Read

Wow what do I say. This story is phenomenal. Pyotr and Alina are dynamic together. This is the first book in this series I read and for it being book three, and done so amazingly well that I will be reading the first two. Their journey together is remarkable. The writing and flow of this book is perfect. I beyond recommend this book.

An exceptionally written story about the third brother to a Russian Bratva family that has an arrange marriage to a rival Russian Bratva family. Neither one knew the other when they were presented to one another at a justice of the peace in Moscow.
His brother is the head of their families Bratva in Russia, they took over after their over thrown their uncle. He is a fraternal twin and has three brother’s counting his twin. He’s a CEO of the Cyber security company that’s in New York, him and his brother’s the company founded. He’s the type that only thinks about work. He goes along with this wedding so that his family and a rival family won’t see anymore blood shed. But he plans on going back to New York as soon as he can with his bride by his side.
She’s the daughter to the rival families Bratva. Her mother is abusive to her and has been for since her father passed, she has three sister who all are married. Her mother doesn’t let her out unless she’s with her so he only companion is the horse that her father got her wen she was younger.
The couple didn’t know each other and the wife didn’t even know she was getting married until the morning of the wedding when she pulled out of bed by her mother. At the beginning it was a marriage to two rival families from going to war but by the end the marriage was for love.
At the beginning when she didn’t know him she ran away and tried everything to annoy him put even though it got on his nerves he liked her spunk but later he would like her thoughts and ideas. She thought at the beginning that he was nothing but business and just didn’t want to deal with her but as time pasted she knew everything he was going was to show people that wasn’t as worthless as his mother thought when he was younger and also to give her everything he thought she should have. At this time they were to be getting to know each other for when they went in front of the immigration’s office to get it so she could stay in the country.
During the marriage there was ups as well as downs. A rival of his was trying to get him to sell the company but he would never do that and at a benefit galla that same rival tried to attack his wife, the bad press afterwards didn’t help much but at the end it all got better when they went to other events and gave money to charity. Their was things online about them and a drone was taking pictures of what was going on in their place, they got the drone but couldn’t get any information from it and the pictures that were up was taken down after the pictures already did the damage to them publicly. She started making plans for a benefit concert to raise money for the companies program for inter city children.
When get to know as well as trust each other, she tells him that she has fallen in love with him and kisses him but when he says nothing she gets upset. She was feeling well and they were to go to an event, he went and she stayed home. A guard was to drive her to the hospital but he was on her mother’s payroll so he drove her to her mother instead. Her mother took her back to Moscow. When he got home he looked for her and had his brother who lived with them to help. Her mother shot the guard.
She was now in Moscow, she had been there for a while before she made he escape. But before she escaped she took pictures of the plans and found out that the plans would be executed very soon. An elderly lady took her to a clinic for a gun shot wound and come to find out that the woman helping her was a sister in law of her husband. They get to her husband and he’s very happy that she’s okay.
She tells him that she was the one who sent the pictures of her mother’s plans to him. When he takes her to go lay down and rest she informs she never wanted to go with her mother and that she’s pregnant. He holds her for a while before going to get her something to eat. After she eats she rests.
He and his brother’s are talking about a plan when his brother’s wives come in, they’re both worried but she comes in telling them about how to ruin her mother’s plan. The brother that’s the head of the family Bratva doesn’t know if he can trust her until he tells him that he can trust his wife.
They make their plans and start it in motion, everything goes according to their plan and afterward her and her husband chance her mother out of town until an accident happens and her mother’s vehicle flips. They go to her mother but she finds out that she’s not her daughter, the mother threatens them so she is sent to the Pit. She goes to see the woman who was suppose to be her mother in the Pit and after they go back to New York and their lives.
The brother moves out from their place. All of the OBGYN appointment’s go great. They go to the immigration appointment and that even goes well. He finds out that his rival is in jail for blackmail. Through the months everything goes perfectly, he takes her to show her a surprise when she opens her eyes it’s the horse that her father gave her as a girl. He also has another surprise, not far away he as a table set with candles and two place sitting, his personal assistant/secretary brings out their food. He informs her of another surprise but wants to wait till after they eat but she can’t so he pulls out a ring box that’s empty, he purposes to her she tells him yes but before anything else can happen she water breaks. He yells for the personal assistant/secretary, she hurries to them and they go to the hospital.
He is in a tuxedo waiting for her to come down the isle, he’s worried if everything will be alright, his twin brother tries to calm him down and the bride comes on the arm of his older brother. The say their own vows and as they say their I do’s they give each other wedding bands at the end they kiss. They’re so truly in love with one another and so very happy, they love their live together. The go to a honeymoon, he hired his personal assistant/secretary as the nanny to their daughter.
She’s on stage at the benefit concert to play the piano, he’s in the front row with their daughter. She starts playing, it been a long while since she played but she has been practicing. She makes a mistake but when she gets up they all applauded, he comes up giving her kisses before he says a couple of words to the attendees.
They both love each other even though at the beginning it wasn’t love what they got married for but now they love each other and their beautiful daughter more than anything in the world.
A heartwarming story with amazing characters as well as a remarkable page turner. It has steamy romance, intrigue, action and thrilling suspense it’s a wonderful happily ever after story.

After reading this book, I was surprised by the long list of other books by this author because I felt that this book was rather amateurish. The writing style was fine with few grammatical errors, but the plot's logic had so many holes in it that I'd have to compare it to a sieve. First of all, the author doesn't make a compelling case for how forcing into marriage two people who have very little to do with their families' bratvas is supposed to bring peace between these two rival gangs. Alina had been a sheltered girl living in Russia, yet somehow when she gets to the US, she has no trouble navigating its streets or communicating with anyone. In fact, she talks as if she was born in the US instead of in Russia. In addition, the so-called scandal that came about as a result of the photos taken seemed way out of proportion.

Richard and Alina's mother were nothing more than stereotypes, and the fact that Pyotr couldn't seem to handle the slimy Richard very well reduced him in my estimation. I thought he was supposed to be the head of the largest company of its type in the world, and he can't handle this guy? It didn't make sense. Another thing that didn't make sense was the fact that Alina's mother was trying to get her to return to Russia. Why? If she wanted to justify starting a war with the other family, she should have had Alina killed and then blamed it on Pyotr.

Also, the author needs to do some research before writing about things she obviously knows nothing about. Her rendition of the immigration interview is not the way they're conducted. The couple are never together when they're interviewed but always interviewed separately to see if their stories match.

This story is for Pyotr

I have been reading this series and each story is for a brother. This one is for Pyotr who is the fraternal twin of Dimitri. Mikhail is experiencing some serious territorial issues with the Saldovs. He doesn’t want a war, so he reaches out for a true agreement. There is a young daughter, Alina, available. So an arranged marriage is born between Alina and Pyotr. These two are not pleased at all. Read On!

It's smartly crafted with complex characters and a twisty plotline that hooked me from the first chapter and keeps me riveting and turning pages. It's a story of family, loyal, duty and love, vengeance and betrayal.
The premise is gritty and dark, and the characters are dynamic. It's filled with lies, secrets, deception, action packed, power struggles, manipulations, violence, hatred, drama, resentment, revelations, danger, pawn, suspense, mystery, anger, unexpected twists and turns, family issues, bloodshed, enemies, blackmail, murder, alliance, acceptance, truce, mob war, taboo, darkness, madness, brutality, surprises, tension, emotions, kidnapping, lust, peace, surprise pregnancy, forced proximity, age gap trope stor, hate-to-love vibes, arrange marriage, mafia romance, treachery, double-cross, torture, attacks, threats, fear, billionaire romance, passion and love.
The Antonov Bratva and the Salkvo Bratva has been at war years with blood spilling into streets and lives being lost on both sides. Violetta Salkvo is a calculating, ruthless and evil b!+c$ and is head also head of the Salkvo Bratva. She uses her daughters as a pawn for her selfish gains to wheel power. Alina Salkvo her twenty one year daughter is last one left of her three daughters that she can use as a pawn in her schemes and evil games. Alina does not want anything to do with the mafia lifestyle and rebel against her mother constantly. Her mom has broker a deal between the Antonov Bratva and hers for an arranged marriage between her daughter Alina and Mikhail brother Pyotr Antonov. Pyotr despises the mafia world choosing to let his brothers Mikhail and Dimitri handle that part. Instead he decided to stay back in New York instead and run their family business Cyberfort Enterprise with his brother Luka. The deal between both Bratva's will probably stop the impeding war and stop the fighting between the two Bratva. Violetta didn't have any thought of keeping the treaty with the Antonov Bratva.
Poor Alina she doesn't know what's going on only that her mom dragged her from home and bed with a threat that if she didn't marry this complete stranger she would beat and kill her horse. She flew her off to New York where she meets her groom who was twice her age at a court house for a rush ceremony. Pyotr didn't want any part of the charade and came in with utter disdain and anger saying let's get married. Alina kept running away because one tells her what's going on and she was trying rid herself of her barbaric mother. However, once she was read into the situation and that they had to stay married to stop the bloodshed she fall in line as the dutiful wife.
They started to go events and galas and spending a lot of time together they realized that they have a lot in common because they were both raised by cold-hearted bastard masquerading as mother. Their chemistry was sensual and hot. They the preparation of of the INS and sharing secrets to get ready for their hearing. But her mother didn't wanted to see the success of this union so she had someone her kidnapped and take back to Russia. However, once Pyotr found that he was going to become a father there was nothing that would stand in his way of getting back. Will he be able to rescue his wife? Will they get their HEA?

Pyotr and Alina’s story…the underestimated

Even though it’s the 3rd in the series, Pyotr Antonov’s story, not surprisingly, has the same intensity and volatility readers enjoyed in the first two. It can be read as a standalone, but I will recap briefly what is useful to know to thoroughly enjoy this book.
[Recap: Mikhail and Dimitri (Pyotr’s twin) returned to Russia to regain control of the Antonov Bratva and rival families. Pyotr and youngest brother Luka remained in NY to run Cyberfort in which Pyotr is now the CEO and Luka is the cybertech genius - the ideal arrangement to keep the company’s reputation untainted by anything Bratva. The other family history worth mentioning is the brothers’ disdain of their mother, Catherina. Mikhail actually raised his brothers in NY when they were forced out of Russia. Catherina was worthless as a mother - a cold hearted, selfish, manipulative narcissist.]

Unfortunately for Pyotr, he is coerced to marry Alina Solkov in Moscow, hopefully to avert an all out war between the 2 families. The Solkov’s are run by Violetta Solkov, who is also willing to sacrifice her daughter for “peace”. Alina, a notorious rebel and a survivor of her mother’s cruelty, looks for every opportunity to escape her aloof, handsome husband. It is only when Pyotr informs her that their marriage was necessary to stop her mother’s intended massacre of his family, that Alina changes. With an informed and fresh outlook on their marriage, both Alina and Pyotr move toward each other with sharing secrets and affection. The author does an excellent job in constructing the intimate atmosphere necessary for the divulgence of said secrets. Some of the heart wrenching moments come from their revealing the brutality that they both suffered at their mothers’ hands. Other secrets speak of their desires and vulnerabilities. Pyotr make a shocking revelation. And thus begins the sensual and fiery romance we expect from Crowne.

As they grow closer, someone tries to separate them and succeeds in doing just that. It is at that point the novel’s action and violence associated with the Bratva begins. Discover who the threat and betrayer is. Read why Pyotr has to get involved with his Bratva brothers whose lives are being threatened. I was looking forward to the story of the quiet and contemplative Pyotr and the author did not disappoint. Alina’s character is stellar and her defiance and fiery disposition will be appreciated and cheered by everyone. The novel is worth a gajillion ✨. I’m looking forward to reading about Luka in Book 4. I have received an ARC from Booksprout and I am leaving an unbiased review voluntarily.

**Minor Spoilers Ahead**

I have read a few of K.C. Crowne books, and I think this one is my favorite so far. Alina and Pyotr just seem like such an unlikely pair in the beginning, but their love story is one of my favorites. Both Pyotr and Alina have trauma they have been through and manage to connect through their shared pasts. I liked that there was action happening throughout the growing relationship and when the conflict came to a head there was enough action happening on page to make it so much more than just a romance book. There was also not too much that the romance aspect was left behind. That's why I love mafia romances so much. This book really had a good balance to keep the reader engaged and on the edge of their seat to want to know who was the antagonist, and how the good guys would persevere.

***Spoilers Ahead***

Alina is 21 years old and no stranger to her Sakarov bratva boss mother's cruel nature. So it should come as no surprise when her mother drags her out of bed and to her wedding that she knew nothing about. She has no idea what is at stake with this marriage, so she is determined to use the opportunity of going to America as a way to escape the mafia life she never wanted.

Pyotr is one of the Antonov bratva brothers, 41 years old, living in New York and running a security company as a legit businessman. Despite no longer being a part of the mafia, when the opportunity comes to protect his family by creating an alliance through marriage he steps up to the plate. Pyotr will provide for his new wife but love was never supposed to by part of the plan.

The longer they know each other, the more secrets get shared between the two. It doesn't take long for Pyotr to become protective and possessive of his new wife. And for Alina to give up on escaping her new husband, and instead give him her loyalty and love.

But riding into the sunset will have to wait. Despite Pyotr willing to do anything to protect his new wife, he can't protect her from what he doesn't know.

By the time he figures out who the threat is, Alina has already been taken and is being returned to Moscow. Their marriage wasn't what they thought, and now Alina and Pyotr's entire family is at risk. But, Pyotr is willing to do whatever it takes to save the women he loves, including being a part of the bratva he was determined to keep his distance from. And Alina is willing to do whatever it takes to do the same for Pyotr.

Part of the Bratva Billionaires series each can be read as a standalone so why read only one when we are talking about billionaires, alphas, overprotective sexy bratva men and the women they take on as their match in the feisty women that push all their buttons. So, hang on and double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love (ALL THINGS TO EXPECT FROM THE MAFIA WORLD). By the time you’ve figured out who is who and what is what, you’re already hooked, and you may as well give up the fight and prepare yourself for an all-nighter! CAN’T SAY YOU WEREN’T WARNED!!!!! Alina feisty, sweet when she wants to be but only wants her freedom from her controlling mother who the head of the Salkov family, but she learns that freedom isn’t going to come anytime soon because she is being forced to marry one of the Antonov brothers and neither of them wants to marry. Pyotr sexy as all get out Antonov bratva although he has fought to put distance between his family, he has always wanted to forge his own path and getting married wasn’t on his list of things to do. They are forced to spend time with one another learning a little about one another and discovering there is more between them than they initially thought add to that the attraction and the magnetic pull between them grows the longer they are around each other but the rubber meets the road so to speak when she is kidnapped driving him crazy also makes him realize that he truly loves his girl, she is being held all she can think of his her husband but will he find her in time to stop the war that has been brewing, will she ever get from under her evil mother’s thumb, escaping from her family to get back to her husband all while helping them take control of the war, once they communicate really communicate getting on the same page can they be strong enough to stand against those out to betray them but will it lead them to the happiness they both seek and need?.

If you like an easy read and are willing to avoid digging into reality too much this is a great story.

It’s a sweet romance with happy ending. Fast relationship progression but was well done if you like a story to cut to the chase.
There are multiple well written sex scenes. Focus is mainly on FMC and her POV. FMC is a virgin but it’s not focused on. He’s gentle and caring, but dominant too. I do have a couple issues however.

Issue #1:
The timeline does jump around strangely. They have sex and what seems like 3 days later she’s nauseous. No mention of how long it actually is from one to the other.

Issue #2:
Near the end she helps him on a mafia attack, while pregnant and weakened, but the other women are locked away? If anyone should have stayed back it’s the girl who’s been kidnapped and starved for weeks.

Issue #3:
FMC personality shifts too much. I thought she was really timid then she just lashes out? Also she’s surprisingly willing to be emotionally vulnerable and reveal what she thinks considering how she grew up and how little he encourages her to speak. She’ll go from shaking terrified to a powerhouse of opinion.

Issue #4:
Worst part to me, the story has a plot line of the ex-fiancé from like 15 years prior. She returns conveniently while they’re under media fire, gets a job at his company, starts drama between FMC and MMC that causes FMC to be kidnapped. After all that, the storyline with the ex all leads to…… nothing. No ending, not even a mention of if she is fired or still works for MMC which was a problem for FMC. I thought she would end up being a plant or something.

All in all, if you don’t take it too seriously it’s a nice little read. It’s a light handed romance, not overly explained but easy to fall into. I liked how caring/safe FMC felt and how much MMC liked her. The age gap is tastefully done IMO. Nice HEA and makes me want to read the other books in the series.

A Perfect Match, A Perfect Love Story
This is book 3 of the Antonov Family series. I LOVE THIS STORY! Pyotr Antonov stayed in New York to run CyberFort, the family cyber security business while two of his brothers Mikhail and Dimitri were forced to move to Moscow to run the powerful Antonov Bratva Family. New York is running smoothly but there is conflict bubbling up in Moscow. A deal to stop a probable war is being put together and Pyotr is at center stage. He is being forced to marry the daughter of another powerful mafia family to calm down growing tension. Pyotr’s not happy but he figures he and his future wife will just live separate lives. Twenty-one year old Alina Salkovs is being force by her evil mother Violetta Salkovs to marry into the Antonov family. Alina figures she will run as soon as she and Pyotr get to New York. That doesn’t work. They start taking baby steps to get to know the other, trying to build at least a friendly relationship and its working. When Alina is kidnapped and taken back to Moscow Pyotr goes crazy trying to find his wife. He feels awful that he didn’t tell her he loves her and Alina is sad that she is lost to her wonderful husband. The action really heats up when Alina finds a way to escape the Salkovs Family. With Alina’s help the war takes a drastic swing in favor of the Antonov family.
Pyotr has secrets, Alina has secrets and when they share, and their relationship becomes a solid partnership filled with a romantic love. There was just enough angst, lots of great characters and a fantastic story. The last quarter of the book was full of suspense and action. This is a GREAT SERIES and I loved all the stories. I enjoyed reading this story. It had an actual plot that the author maintained and stayed on track with very well. Here lately, that’s been a common flaw I’ve been seeing in the mafia/bratva books I’ve been reading. The story goes stagnant very quickly and that was not the case for this one. Hero is a complete sweetheart and very rarely do you see cinnamon rolls as a part of a Bratva family so that was different and appreciated.
Where this story erred is in editing. It truly could have used another round of reviewing with a fine toothed comb. There were missing words, names spelled wrong, wrong word usage (i.e apartment was used when the author meant to use department) just that kind of thing. Also, the beginning was a little shaky in the fact that our heroine started out kind of bratty and she kept trying to “escape” even though she really didn’t have a reason to motivate her need to escape. Her husband is literally telling her she can do whatever she wants, will have an endless supply of funds at her disposal, and he won’t touch her or force her to do anything— that they can have a marriage in name only if that’s what she wants— and she’s like, I’ve got to escape even though I’m in a foreign country, have no money, nowhere to go, and could potentially put myself in a much worse situation??? Just didn’t make sense, ya know? Lastly, I didn’t like that they kept calling each other wife and/or husband. Just felt kinda tacky, for lack of a better word lol!
Anyway, still a good read and a fresh take on the whole mafia/bratva/arranged marriage storyline! Recommend to anyone who considers that their jam!

It was an arranged marriage between the Antonov and the Salkov Bratva supposedly to stop the fighting between the two families, but Mikhail Antonov did not know the leader of the Salkov Bratra was not a honorable person. She forced her own daughter, Alina to marry Pyotr with no notice sending her off to foreign country. She vowed to escape him. Until, he explained people's lives depended on them to stay together because of the treaty. After, that she agreed to settle down doing what she was told, but there was a snake in the grass causing problems for Alina. They knew they needed to spend as much time together as possible to learn everything about each other for their immigration interview that they started going to galas and other fund raisers. It was not long before they discovered they had a lot in common and actually enjoyed each other's company. They were well on their way to falling in love. Alina's mother was never a woman anyone would dare turn their back on as she beat Alina growing up and threatened to kill her horse if she did not marry Pyotr. Everyone was a pawn to her so she arranged to kidnap Alina from Pyotr taking her back to Russia breaking the treaty, but after she had time to amass a army of men to eliminate the Antonov Bratra. The war was on. Pyotr was not part of the Antonov Bratra, but he was getting his wife back. Alina's mother may have thought she had her beat down to nothing, but Pyotr showed her a new kind loving world, and she was not letting that get away. A fabulous action packed read that will keep you turning the pages.

It Is Not How You Start, But Rather How You Finish -
Alina was scared and angry when her mother dragged her out of bed to the judges chamber and forced her to marry a man she didn’t know. Pyotr agreed to the marriage out of obligation to ensure peace, but he was shaken to the core the moment he laid eyes on Alina. Even though Alina tried to escape, Pyotr always found her and forcefully brought her back, which angered her.

However, she agreed to stay and make it work, once Pyotr explained the reason for their marriage. Spending time and working together brought closer and led them to realise they had true feelings for each other. Unfortunately, their path to happiness didn’t run smooth, as Pyotr’s enemies, the media and Alina’s family, kept reeking havoc on their lives. As luck would have it, when Alina found herself in a bind, she used her hidden skills to get her out of the predicament her mother created.

Alina realised she was strong and capable of doing anything when she was in trouble, so she used her knowledge to help her husband’s family overpower their adversaries. Alina and Pyotr also received life changing news during the time their lives were in chaos, which helped them finally acknowledge their feeling for each other and work together towards a happily ever after. This was a fast paced story, with lots of action, steamy moments, intense situations and family camaraderie, that will keep you entertained for a few hours. This book is definitely worth reading, because you won’t be disappointed.

When this book came in, I stopped reading all other books just to get to this one. Had slightly less erotica than the first two but what it did have was through the roof. There was obviously violence with the Bratva, but there was torture, extended years of torture with Alina's Family.
Pyotr has always lived his life separate from the Antonov Bratva running Cyberfort with Luka. He has to marry Alina or there will be a massive Bratva war. Alina has no idea. She thought it was just for money. She hates her mother. Pyotr puts up with her running away because of it. The night she found out about the war, things got heated, then erotic.
People write bad things about Alina partially because of a drone. Then about the couple because of a charity event.
What I love is that the two of them never give up getting closer for the INS interview. They used a secret for a secret. They really got to know each other as husband and wife.
I have enjoyed this Bratva series and am incredibly sad there is only one brother left. I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole series and keep diving into them like they are the last slice of pizza every time one comes out. Please READ THIS BOOK. There is loads more fun excitement, maybe some criminal activity? OK alot...

Owned by the Bratva is book three in the Billionaire series. Pyotr Antonov and Alina Salkov first meet when Alina is dragged to the judges chamber by her mother to be married to Pyotr. She has no idea why she is being forced to marry a man that she has not ever met before, plus he is close to twice her age. They are put through a very condensed rushed ceremony, Pyotr showed nothing but distain and so much anger even when the Judge pronounced them man and wife…”you may now k…Pyotr just turned and walked away, once all the paperwork was signed they boarded Pyotr’s private plane and flew to New York. Pyotr and Alina were in for some tough times ahead with neither one wanting to be in this marriage, with Pyotr’s constant disgruntled and angry disposition Alina wasn’t comfortable nor did she feel welcome. She tried to run a few times but each time Pyotr found her and brought her back. This is a perfect mix of drama, action, danger, suspense, lies, manipulation, red hot off the charts chemistry once they figured out they had feelings for each other. Each book in this series just gets better. This series is a must read! I am very anxious to read Lucas’ story. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I enjoyed the first two books in this series, but I think this one is even better. Pyotr and Alina are forced to marry in order to stop all out war between their Bratva families. She is unexpectedly feisty and spirited, not at all the reticent and reserved woman he thought she would be. Alina is determined to find her freedom from this marriage, her family and the Bratva. Pyotr is a protector to his core. He may seem reserved, far too quiet and distant, but he is always observing in order to find the best path forward that will keep his family safe. That tough exterior hides a warm passionate heart. The chemistry between Pyotr and Alina is intense, and the sparks of desire are soon ablaze. When Alina is taken, both of them realize the depth of their feelings and Pyotr will do anything and everything to bring his wife, his heart back into his arms. Just where she now longs to be.

This is a steamy and passionate story with a dangerous undertone and plot twists that keep one’s eyes riveted to the pages until the very end. The characters are all well developed and fascinating making this book very enjoyable to read.

Number three in the series, and this is Pytor’s book. Always the more serious of the brothers. Never in his wildest dreams. Did he want to find love, or have a family. While he has two older brothers left for Russia to run that business, for obvious reasons is kept secret from the business that is run in the US. Pytor he’s left in charge and CEO of the cyber security company that the brothers started. It’s 24 hour work until an emergency calls. Him back to Russia and his life is changed forever. Alina a Russian through, and through, was brought up in the Russian mob life, but also kept away from it. Not even understanding what is going on she is yanked out of bed by her evil mother and forced to marry. She has no understanding of why, and all three of her older sisters were forced to marry as well. This is Pytor and Alina’s story. A true love story, and I think my favorite book so far in the series. She is an amazing woman, who comes through so much adversity, and is so strong. They both have secrets, and so many secrets are revealed in this book. Loved that happily ever after. The extended epilogue is a must read.

This book is about an arranged marriage where neither party is happy about having to get married. The MMC is trying to keep his family safe and just wants to provide for his wife and live pleasant separate lives. The FMC was forced by her mother and didn't even know she was getting married until the morning of.
If a book can get me smiling like a fool, laughing, gripping my device with anxiety, frowning and reading out loud to myself, it's safe to say I'm engrossed and enjoying the story. This book did that. This is one of my favorite books I've read so far this year.
It has romance and action. I enjoyed how the romance unfolded and how the suspense/action played out. Both main characters are fully fleshed out and it's easy to root for them to find happiness. I adored their interactions and found the MMC to be incredibly sweet. I especially liked how the sex scenes were handled, with the MMC insisting the FMC take intuitive and control. It fit the characters and was refreshing for the genre.

Another fantastic book in this series. Alina is devastated when her mother forces her into an arranged marriage, to Pyotr, and it becomes very clear that it is nothing more than a business transaction for Pyotr. Despite being part of a Bratva family, Alina has never been involved, so when she finds out why her mother forced her into marriage and repercussion if it fails, she knows she has no option but to stay with Pyotr. However after spending time with him, Alina sees a completely different side to him, and begins to fall for him. However with danger lurking and betrayal by someone close, their relationship is cut short, with Alina’s life in danger. No matter what, Pyotr is determined to get his wife back, after realising too late how much he loves her. I love this series, there is so much action and drama, with lots of twists and turns, you never know what to expect next! Great book with a great ending.

Ohh this one was way sweeter than any of the prior! In fact, Alina and Pyotr’s story is almost sugar in comparrison to Misha and Dima’s relationships.
Mind you, there are some mega awesome moments in this book! Like when they trade ‘secret for a secret’ - which is way too friggen cute:
“Blue, by the way.”
“What?”
“A secret for a secret. Blue is my favorite color. Light blue, like the sky.” I suppose to most, this might be a mundane sort of fact, but coming from Alina, it feels like I’ve struck gold.
“Duly noted,” I mutter as she slips past me.
This is sooooo Pyotr! It’s understated and perfect - in fact everything about the story was great right up to the very end which was a little too high speed. The extended epilogue is gorgeous so definitely subscribe to the authors newsletter to access it.

I love the Antonov brothers and Pyotr Antonov doesn't disappoint. He's helping his family to avoid an all out war by marring the enemies marring Alina Salkov a Salkov Bratva's daughter. Wow sparks fly and the chemistry between Poyter and Alina is explosive, we see Poyter as the strong silent type, who also has a heart of gold especially for his family and he'll do whatever he needs to keep them safe. Alina on the other hand doesn't know what's really happening and her new husband is beyond frustrating with his one-word answers. I love how the author pulls you into the story and the mafia drama surrounding their new life together. Alina is a feisty and outspoken bride who will stop at nothing to regain her freedom, but when she needs rescuing, she yearns to her husband. a captivating story with twists and turns filled with lies and betrayal at every turn. Wow, this book really had me guessing it was fantastic, the story wow it was all for greed and the characters were really sensational. This story was about Alina Solkov and Pytor Antonovs, to stop the war between the two families Alina, Alina's mother wanted her to marry an Antonovs to stop war breaking out. Pytor is the CEO of the security company that he and his brothers built but then two of his brothers went back to Russia, now he has been asked could he marry Alina to make peace between the two Bratva families. Will Alina be happy being an Antonovs, will they both be happy with the marriage until Alina goes missing. Things are happening and the Antonovs are not aware what is going on but they need to find Alina because war is inevitable.

Cinderella - with a twist ;-)

The Salkov Bratva and the Antonov Bratva are fighting each other over who leads Moscow.
Solution: merry the Salkov daughter Alina and the Antonov son Piotr - which happens without preamble and Alina is to go to NYC with Piotr.
Only, she doesn’t want to stay with him, so she escapes repeatedly … but Piotr can find her every time until she realizes that with him she has actually found her safe place in life.
This whole story is a quite romantic version of Cinderella; both protagonists grew up with plotting and abusive mothers and find their happily ever after in each other … but the way there is stony as they have to fight lots of business and private complications.
Grab the book, it’s the most romantic in the series for me.
Both main characters are well developed and the story line is pretty breathtaking.
