Eric Ward's keen, analytical skills stand him in good stead in this intriguing mystery. Our hero digs deep to bring the killer to justice, while resisting the man-eating Eileen, who uses all her seductive skills to manipulate him; Ward is too wise to succumb!Roy Lewis writes well crafted stories which never fail to entertain.

This mystery had intrigue and many surprises. It featured a former policeman turned lawyer and is set in England. I highly recommend this book to other mystery readers.

Another good story set in the world of finance, business and intrigue with a well thought out plot and a good ending. I have read all the books by Roy Lewis and have a personal preference for the Inspector Crowe series.

Storyline very good.

A bit heavy going reading ins and outs of business takeovers, maybe have been better a bit more condensed.Plenty going on within the storylines and a satisfactory ending.I have read all the series up this, they are all very worthwhile reads.😎😎

Roy Elms writes a classic

I have to say, I couldn't put it down and the end came way too soon. With the classic twist at the end, this is a must read.
