With her life falling apart around her--an unfaithful lawyer husband and a son on trial for a murder he claims he did not commit--Audrey Roberts has reached the breaking point, but her world become further complicated when she finds herself drawn to Houston police officer Kirk Maxwell, who just happens to be the cop who arrested her son. Reprint.

Evelyn writes phenomenal stories with middle aged women, and this one is just as good. Audrey finds her husband in bed with another woman, her son is on trial for a murder he says he didn't commit, and the cop she's involved with romantically is also involved in the case with her son. A lot of drama and a lot of surprises. I loved it.
