Millions of miles away from Earth, what separates order from chaos is the cold of space.
In this short story, in the not-so-distant future, on Earth's first Colony Cruiser christened "Haven" the Human Race is taking it's inaugural 15 year journey to find a new home. In order to keep the peace the Colony assembled the H.C.P.D. - Haven Colonial Police Department - from the best of the best cops Earth had to offer. An Elite H.C.P.D. squad nicknamed "The 39", even though is tasked with a small sector of the ship, they are right smack in the middle between justice and the cold of space.
