I’d say like 3.5 stars. I expected a book full of Hallmark-esque Christmas love stories, but I was surprised. It actually had a lot of stories that had me feeling bad for the characters, until I looked closer and noticed all of the human connections. There was a huge emphasis on human connection, whether it was a family member, distant friend, or even a neighbor. My curiosity was definitely piqued with some of these recipes! May have to try out some when we actually meet for book club.
Hartewarming, festive and cute short stories that made me smile and are the perfect winter read Recommended. Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
