Can Nanae share his Sinnis with another man? Can Camilla handle her lovers loving each other? Will Israel survive the appetites of both? Will the hunger that Nanae battles constantly win and force him to destroy everything that he has come to love and need?
This is an extremely graphic novel with sexual situations for open minded adults, with not only m/f/m scenes but also m/m/f with a sprinkle of BDSM between two superhuman men and a pregnant petite.
I have always loved reading. In middle and high school, I could be found with my nose in a book between classes while others were flirting and primping. In a small way, I hated to turn 16 because it meant I could drive to school and didn't have the extra hour in the morning to read a few extra chapters. I love paperbacks. Hardbacks, not so much. They are heavy and cumbersome and come with dust jackets, which I loath. I adore my Kindle. I love the ease of buying books and the secrecy I can enjoy them in. No more bright pink or swarthy man-laden covers being seen and judged by cashiers for this gal!
I quit reading for fun in college; there was just too much to do. It was a hard time after graduation–in a new city with no friends and a first husband who didn't like me very much. One day I went into a used bookstore and tripped over a display of the Dark Series by Christine Feehan. I bought each one as they came out. Because of that, if I had to pick a favorite genre it would be paranormal romance. I do read tons of other stuff. I like action and adventure, and choose paranormal, fantasy or sci-fi over everything else. If a book only has romance without all the running and chasing and fighting of vamps or dragons or cyborgs, then I'll probably pass.
I am now married to a kind, artistic, highly intelligent man, who looks like a nerdy biker. He rocks the sideburns and forearm tattoo better than anyone I've ever seen. Eric's paperback collection is one of the main reasons I married him. He had a massive amount lining the walls of his bedroom (how sexy is that!) and I knew I had to have them–and him–as my own. Our wedding was aboard the Carnival Cruise Ship, the Ecstasy, and we were the only attendees save our officiant, the Justice of the Peace. It was just for us and it was perfect. I would advise more people to forget about what everyone else wants for their special day and to spend the money on a glorious honeymoon that just happens to start with a civil ceremony. It's what we did and we have no regrets. Eric is the reason I have time, and the inspiration, to write.
We have a genius daughter, Gwendolyn Ygraine, who takes the space and energy of four and may take over the world one day. Our family is further rounded out by our animals: three cats (Virgil, Trailmix and Mauvra), a Chihuahua/Terrier mix named Hitchens and several fish. I love to play card and board games and I am a sore loser– the worst. I was born and raised in East Texas and I have lived as far from home as Austin, Texas where I earned a BFA from UT in Acting with a History Minor.
I am the kind of writer who always has several works in progress and Wretched Blood, book two of the Carrier Trilogy, is almost complete. I also have upcoming releases for both my Mount Haven Quickie and Sinnis series. And, a standalone more horror than romance vampire novel is in the works. You can also visit my website for more Sinnis short stories. I am very excited about all of this and so thrilled that I get to write what I love and that I have people who want to read it. Thank you so much for your support."
Author Natalie Gibson writes what she likes to read. No matter what genre, her stories are filled with action and adventure that will keep you turning the page, haunting images that stick with you, and endings that keep you coming back for more. Her blend of paranormal and urban fantasy, whether it be contemporary or historical, provides for an entertaining read.
If you enjoy your romance on the steamy side and heavy on the paranormal, then try the books of Sinnis. If you like your erotica short, to the point, mildly romantic, and touching on a variety of kink, you will enjoy the Mount Haven Quickies. If you're looking for something darker with mind-bending thrills, then check out the Carrier Trilogy.
Camilla is the kind of healer who removes abnormailities from people's bodies. If you're pregnant, she will instantly kill your offspring because her power cannot tell the difference between a wanted pregnancy and an abnormality. The problem with this is that Camilla really wants a baby of her own and the deep longing comes from having unwittingly killed all of the pregnancies her mother had after she was born. Nanae is a god-like healer who can block Camilla's power and he's very willing to do so because being with her 24 hours a day is exactly what he wants to do. Camilla is his soulmate. Isreal, a DJ seen in the first book of the series, gets Camilla pregnant but once the job is done he doesn't want to go. He's in love with both Camilla and Nanae. Will they have room for him in their lives and what about this brotherhood that's trying to get Nanae's blood - and worse, what about the hunger beast that Nanae himself struggles to control. Will anyone come out of this alive?
If you're put off by threesomes, this may not be the novel for you. In actual fact, there's not a lot of male on male contact in this book. The story is more focused on Camilla, her powers, coming to terms with her past and Nanae's hunger beast (gotta say, the last one was just scary). The violent bad guy, in this novel, is more mastermind and more off screen and thinks he's the puppeteer but we know better. I really enjoyed the very different dynamic of this novel.
While I may have called Gibson's other novels more romance than erotica, I do think while this has romance elements with the ratio of sex and detail of the encounters I'll have to call this the more erotica genre. I would have liked to have gotten more after the fact dynamic from the parents but I know why we couldn't and I like how Gibson wrapped up their storyline. The characters from the previous novels (with the exception of Maeve's mate) play a much larger role in the storyline collectively than they did in previous books and I like that as lot because it shows us what those characters have been up to since last we saw them. Natalia and her Sinnis are installed and active in the Austin Daughters chapter.
This, as with Gibson's other books, was a very compelling and very fast read. I do feel like we're left hanging a bit at the end or perhaps that's my desire to read the next one right now that's telling me that. Always leaving them wanting more seems to be a concept in which Gibson believes strongly. High recommend this read.
A hot fantasy erotica. Finished this book last night...and oh my...hot, hot, hot ! Had to tell my hubby the erotic details/scenes in this one! :-) In my opinion, this book falls into three genres (leaning heavily in Fantasy & Erotica): Fantasy, Erotica, Romance. There is a lot description about the mythology and what each creature (person) can do or can't do. I insisted on reading this book first but I think if I was starting out, I would go back to read Book 1 & 2 first...but this book can be read alone too.
The story focuses on a love/sex relationship between Camilla, Isreal and Nanae (F/M/M). The book is set in modern times but is very much a fantasy. Camilla is a healer from Daughters of Women; Isreal (Izzy) is a human man, provides sexual services to the Daughters of Women (but also likes men); and Nanae is a god-like Nephilim who has a "Hunger Beast" (who also likes Izzy), and feeds on both of them for blood. Nanae is unable to give Camilla a child yet she requires Nanae to carry the child. Izzy becomes part of their relationship as he agrees to be the biological father - to give her the seed Camilla requires to have a baby.
During the course of the story, dark forces try to steal the blood of Nanae, frequently attacking their home. So there is an element of danger and suspense as well.
What really struck me about this book was the intense love scenes between the three main characters. The sex scenes were hot (this is very much erotica after all), and the light BDSM was a theme throughout the scenes as well...with a Dom/Switch/Sub relationship between the three - won't spoil it here by telling you what happens or who's who but there is a definite straight out BDSM scene in the book too. One scene is straight out BDSM. The sex scenes were steamy and well done. Very erotic!
Great love story and very hot. The book centers around a Male Guardian (Nephilim), Israel (human to begin with) and the female lead Camilla (witch of sorts- she a very powerful healer). Get your fans out because you will need them or a cold shower after reading this story. If you are not up for a hot and heavy threesome though, I wouldn't recommend this book. But if you are, you won't be disappointed.
Camilla's powers remove foreign cells from bodies, unfortunately her ability can't tell the difference between a cancer cell and a pregnancy. This means she will never be able to carry her own child and she has cause many miscarriages around her before she realized her powers effects.
As a mother who struggled with fertility to have a child I really connected with Camilla and her desire to do whatever is necessary to have a baby. These two men fight for her to have the one thing she desires most in the world, a baby.
I felt like the book really centered around Camilla and her coming to terms with a lost of her past, but it also really showed growth for the two male leads as well. Both went through a great deal of changes, physically and emotionally before the story was out. I love seeing characters grow and mature and this was a huge part of the overall theme.
The series itself is really building in tension and I can't wait to read the next book! The overall story arc is gripping and very exciting.

Where do I begin??? The book began with a hot, steamy scene which set the tone for a great sexy book. Natalie's imagination, visual interpretation, descriptions, are just awesome. When I read her books, I'm not just reading a story, I'm part of it, takes over my dreams at night. The triangle of Nanae, Camilla & Izzy was wonderful. It was sexy, hot, loving, exciting, just plain lovely. The battle Nanae had with himself & his beast, the knowledge Camilla was his Sinnus, but keeping it to himself to protect her, neglecting his own need, ahhh, what can I say, so sweet & romantic. To know she was his Sinnus yet put that aside to give her what she wanted most, a child, a child he could never father...? Well, you'll have to read for yourself. Even with all the erotic love scenes, there was plenty of action & intrigue. This was by far my favorite in the series, finished in one day. I can't wait to start book four tonight, but at the same time I want the series to continue, so i will try to read it a lot slower. Download the series, you will not be disappointed. How can you when you're guardian is a super delicious, sexy man who's only calling is to please & protect you every second of your life??? I'll take two please. Thank you Natalie, great job.
Camilla is a healer. She can heal a person just by being near them. (Wouldn't that be nice?) But she can not be near pregnant women because her abilities can not tell the difference between that and an illness. Because it only senses an anomaly, which it heals, causing the baby to miscarry.
Nanae, her Guardian (Nephilim) is also a healer but of greater power. He can not impregnate a human but he can stay by her side during her pregnancy to make sure the baby stays alive.
Israel is Camilla's human lover. He wants to give her the baby she craves.
Now this is where the story gets very erotic. The three of them fall in love. And have a lot of graphic sex. If you have a problem reading of two males having sex, then this is not for you. This also has light BDSM. I liked the BDSM elements but I did skim over a couple parts of some of the M/M. But that is just me. It did not take away from the story at all.
Want a little action too? There are bad guys after the Guardians blood and they are willing to kill for it. Kidnapping, Zambe (zombies) Vampire like creatures and a whole lot of shooting going on. But I don't want to give it all away. Read the book! You will be glad you did.
The third installment in books of Sinnis, again, it could stand alone as well. I loved this book, even more so than book 2 and was up till 3AM reading it, I could NOT put it down!
All your favorite characters from the previous books are back including Nathalia and Maeve; this book focus’s primarily on Camilla, Nanae and Izzy.. Camilla’s strong desire to conceive and the two men that are going to help her fulfill that need. I absolutely loved reading the relationship between these three people evolve and grow; Gibson expertly captured the insecurities, secrets, desires and emotions of this trio. The sex is off the charts in this book but, as with everything else, it is written and conveyed quite well. Erotica done right, Gibson not only delivers us some Oh My God, Hot, Sexy, Steamy scenes; she also shows the love and nurturing these three share bringing the story full circle.
In the end will Camilla be able to carry their child to term or will the “Beast” that resides within Nanae be the end of them all. 5/5 MUST READ!
I was stunned speechless to find myself falling in love with this story. It was unlike anything I've ever read- and that's a compliment. The relationship between the three is so romantic, so perfect, you cannot be uncomfortable with the sexual relations. While the scenes were very explicit, they also fit very naturally with the tone of the book. The characters were wonderfully developed, and the continuing excerpts with the characters from the first and second books was welcome. I look forward to reading the fourth.
Wow! This third book is amazing. Yes, I really need a cold shower after this one. The eroticism keeps getting better and better. I'm so glad that Camilla finally got to have a child, and hopefully more in the future. So the next chapter begins for the Daughters and Guardians. New threats and surprising revelations are sure to make an appearance. How Natalie Gibson comes up with these awesome story lines and scenarios is beyond me. If you've read the first two books then you definitely need to read this one. I can't wait to read the next installments.
★★☆☆☆½ ~ 2.5 Stars I haven't read this series and so was a bit lost on some of the past history and motivations. It was an interesting take on this world with magic, Guardians, matriarchal society with lots of sexing. There are bad guys. I don't think I'm interested enough to continue.
Not an easy read Ishtar Anomaly was quite confusing till I reached the middle of the book. Then things started clearing up and I got an idea of what and why and how... Being part of a series this book can be read as a stand-alone but I would not recommend it, rather it would be easier to start from Book 1 and move along.
We have three leading character in this book; Nanae, a god-like creature with extremely powerful healing powers and a hidden Beast that craves blood; Camilla, a member of The Daughters of Women, with healing powers a bit lesser than those of Nanae; And lastly Izzy, an ordinary human who is occasionally Camilla’s lover.
The story starts when Camilla asks from Nanae to help her get pregnant and birth a child. No, Nanae’s contribution will not be in seed but in power. Due to Camilla’s healing powers that are uncontrollable she cannot keep a baby for long as it is “cured” by her unintentionally. Nanae’s job will be to restrain her power from harming the embryo. And because Nanae isn’t fertile someone else will need to step up.
When Izzy provides Camilla what she needs it becomes apparent that the third person in the room is the missing link to the most incredible, mind-blowing sex they have. But neither understands how difficult it is for Nanae to let his Sinnis be taken by another man. Thankfully, while Izzy is quite the dominant with Camilla he is the perfect submissive for Nanae and a new relationship is born. The three of them are constantly together and realize that the bond between them is much more than it looked like.
While the storyline is a bit complicated, it was interesting. I simply didn't like the m/f/m ménage and the heroes’ relationship simply didn't draw me as it should. It was a bit shaky and between Nanae’s inability to speak things aloud, Camilla’s very submissive nature that had her not voicing her thought most of the time and Israel’s over-talking, overwhelming speeches I just couldn’t see them all together. Some might think the dynamic works I simply didn’t really see it.
I will not focus there too much though as for me the major disconcerting part was the many faces of the characters and the many directions of the plot. The never ending change was quite troublesome and the end of their angst quite reminded me of Twilight: The Breaking Dawn... Remember the trio there and how it ended; all that blood and gore and the wear and tear of our lovely lady? Well something similar here too.
The action plot was confusing too. Nephilims all of them men, were Guardians of the Daughters of Women, of course all of them women. The former immortals with a caged Hungry Beast, the later mortals with magical powers, all hunted by mere humans with military knowledge… The power dynamic here baffles me and the fact that the military guys with hunger for power even managed to do some damage had me shaking my head.
I also found the end quite predictable and the events that led to it, marking the beginning of a new installment, were frustrating as one would not expect such horrible mistake from The First and her Guardian. It was an "eye rolling" moment that had me quite disappointed. Plus the plot let me with some questions, for example what the heck happened to Fox? I suppose we'll see him on a next book... And Montana; he was supposed to be Brian's second in command, how come Brian had no idea Montana had the DakuAhu; and how did Montana became first in command; why wasn’t there any lead in the plot that he had another agenda?
Anyway, an interesting idea with lots of action, lots of hot scenes, but the result didn't do much for me. But if you’re up for a paranormal/bdsm-y/action kind of read and you don’t mind plot-holes much, you can very well give it a try.
With each new installment in the Sinnis series, they get hotter and steamier and Ishtar Anomaly does not disappoint. In this third installment, the focus is on Camilla, the Healer of the Daughters. Being a healer, Camilla's ability cannot distinguish between a tumor and a wanted pregnancy therefore she cannot be near any woman who is pregnant and unfortunately, that includes herself. Camilla desperately wants children but her ability will not allow for her to carry a child. Nanae, a Nephilim and a Healer, has agreed to use his abilities to block Camilla's abilities so that she may be able to have a child. The only problem is that Nephilim cannot produce children. Enter Israel, or Izzy as he is affectionately known. Izzy has agreed to be the sperm donor for Camilla. The trio quickly become more than partners in a joint endeavor. They all fall in love with each other and produce some of the sexiest, steamiest, and hottest love making scenes I've ever encountered. Camilla indeed conceives a child and has no problem with her pregnancy. It isn't long before Izzy begins to feel like the third wheel in a supernatural steam room. Izzy professes his love to Camilla and Nanae but doesn't get the response he was hoping for. Instead he meets Nanae's Beast and his life is forever changed.
Meanwhile, the Paion make yet another appearance in. They are still hell bent on obtaining Nephilim blood and this time, they put Camilla and her baby in jeopardy. When Camilla's little brother is dying of cancer, she and her men travel to Utah so that she can heal her brother. While healing him, the Paion show up and kidnap Camilla and Nanae, taking them to a warehouse they have set up with what they think is a full proof way to finally get his blood.
Will Camilla lose the baby because of the Paion? Can the trio survive Izzy's insecurities? You'll have to read Ishtar Anomaly to find out! You won't be disappointed.
