Tatsuki Kurata and Satomi Nakazima are two doctors with a history between them. Their high school affair ended with Nakazima's graduation. Ten years later, they meet again in the prefecture hospital where Nakazima is a special guest doctor assigned to Kurata's ER unit. Despite the years, Kurata's feelings for Nakazima haven't changed, but the enigmatic Nakazima shows no inclination to continue their affair. However, when confronted with the possibility that he might lose a chance at happiness, Nakazima decides to reach out to Kurata.
