Tor Baker is trying to pick up where he left his life nearly two years ago, before he got involved with the kingdoms business. Saddled with a new wife he doesn’t love yet, new responsibilities that are too much for someone so young, and a host of new problems, he tries to go back to school.

But life and reality quickly intervene, throwing him into darker things than any kid from Two Bends should have to experience, facing unseen forces that seem bent on his destruction.

The only way out for him is through it, but the process may end up changing him forever.

P.S. Power

P.S. Power works in fiction, mainly focusing on Fantasy, Science Fiction and Horror genres, with brief forays into other things just to keep life interesting. He averages 1 to 2 books monthly and has several series going. He lives in an isolated cabin in the middle of nowhere, as a recluse, yet still manages to find time to talk to people online, in a positive and delightful manner. Not one of those creepy hermit types though, you understand. It's more of an isolated farm style thing. Or ranch really. He's also interested in three dimensional photography, and long moonlit walks on the beach, sometimes with vampires. When he can find time he also does writing and voice work for scripted online programs. Anyway, feel free to drop him a line.

Hello Everyone!

In chatting with Dale over the past few weeks, it was decided that he was interested in blogging to you, his readers. The blog he had within the main site was not going to be a viable solution and there were thoughts of just creating a Forum where only he could post and everyone else could reply. This MOD is a nice meeting of the two for what will hopefully be a highly successful blog!

Hoping this first (and only) post by me will kick off a nice method of interaction with Dale's readers!

p.s. - Also going to try and get the feed that comes with this to feed into Amazon and Goodreads. Good luck to one and all!!

Another good addition to the series. This one gives more back story to some of the things that happened to Tor in the past and why. We finally find out why Tor didn't get his invitation to Kings week. We also learn a little more about the other colors. By this point Tor has meet green, white, red, gray, black, and brown. We also find out why so many people where going into combat rage . Sara is one of my favorite characters for Tor but she wasn't in this story that much. Trice is one of my least favorite characters but some of what she told Tor actually makes sense. She got mad at him for doing something noble again and came off as a bitch. Once she finally explained herself though, it made sense. The fact that he doesn't think anyone needs to apologize to him but then he apologizes to them for the slightest offense is off putting. It makes him seem better than them. She gets mad at him because he needs to allow people that have caused him harm to make amends. By not doing that, he is putting himself above them and that is almost too much of a shot to the ego. Tor has to take a step back from building again since he has damaged his pattern.

I am debating on if I should continue. I don't want to read the stories that are about his brother and sister which is coming up after this next book. I know this series is about more then just Tor, but he is the only one I care about. I really enjoy the day to day building with Tor and don't really care that much about the grander plan with the world and the other colors. So it really comes down to if I should read book 6 knowing I won't continue with the series?

Things are starting to make sense and you start finding out who is responsible for some of Tor's troubles. There is still more to learn in Slave Line but we now know who screwed up most of his early school days. Relationships with the women( and there are many!) are stabilizing but dealing with his new young wife is still to much for him to handle always. He tries so hard but his limitations in understanding or trusting women is still a deep problem. However things get straightened out with his real first love( not completely fixed but definitely better) and that made me much happier.

Still have to say that Petra and Collette are two of my favorites. Many of the powers that be learn the hard lesson that sending in women spies against Tor usually backfires and sometimes gets Tor a new girlfriend! Not as if he fully understands all these relationships.

In this book Tor makes some of his most powerful items with one being a field that is made of pure magic not on any material for Trice.

My favorite line is from Trice though, "I don't hate him, he hates me because of you!" A very telling scene that moved me and made me feel better about her.

its seem I hit my limit in book 5....doesn't have tolerance or willl to continued.

how the author turn school to swing club a.k.a orgy club is beyond my limit.

I only read half the book, I like the story in the middle but afraid to continue through the end, need my soul intact.

the author have the potential to turn this book into a great story with the twisted plot and characterizing. Too bad....

I hope i can continue reading this book again when I have higher tolerance.

Great continuation of the series, slowly taking an even more serious tone, by the end of the book Tor has to learn how to deal with some somber decisions he has to make in this book that I think marks the end of his maturity process as he is no longuer a boy from Two Bends and now stand as a man of the Kingdom. Now the plot seems to expand to the hole world or even beyond and not stuck in a few countrys. I love the way the author has worked this characters, made them grow and mature, the interplay they all take and how to develope. A little sad about the revelations at the end but totally worth it, a great series so far.

If you get involved in the characters, this one really hurts since you find out how crappy Tor's life really has always been...

Tor keeps on getting hit with all sorts of things that he can't control. He still tries to do right with everyone he encounters. Will he ever finish school? We can hope that he will.

I love these books except for one major thing. I WANT THE GUY TO GET THE GIRL!!! God damn, trice or sara. Only one. I'd love also to have those 2 stop being such stupid slags!! Never even realised how much cheating bothers me until this shit. I mean at one point tor is wanting trice badly and out the bitch comes out of a tent where she was gang banged. Don't even get me started on Ali. Rant over for now but I can't keep myself in this series.

Honestly bored of this series after this book. The constant self-deprecation of the main character got old and the books seemed to have no real defined storyline, both starting and ending at random places.
