3.5 Stars. A great display piece that like many guide books the information has been replaced with easier access on the internet. The quality of the book itself is fantastic and the extra pages of artwork are nice to look at.

There is a conundrum for game guides. All of the information within them can be found on the internet. However, rarely is so much information pulled together in one repository. Instead of hunting around, all the goodies are right here.
Assassin’s creed, like other Ubisoft titles, is famous for its reliance on collecting quests and items. Often it feels like your scraping a map clean and story is often sidelined. It doesn’t help that AC has had a convoluted story line from the beginning.
Game guides are nearly extinct. Publishers now rely on artwork and story details to sell a hardcover, and Launch updates have rendered many guides obsolete within hours of a game’s release. This guide, though was one of the last good ones. There is interesting story analysis. There is depth to money making strategies and good, accurate maps. Truly the last of a vanishing breed.

I have to say that I really enjoyed reading this book. I thought the story line was well written. I do recommend others to read or try this book, because you may enjoy it. Assassin's Creed's story line takes place in the American revolution. The main character is name Connor Kenway. The book is basically about his life and what happens to him and makes him become an Assassin. To leave any other spoilers I will let it be. Thanks for reading this, and I hope it helps you decide if you want to read the book or not.
