Mike, Paul McCartney's little brother is a really good photographer. There have been numerous editions of his images of Paul right before and during the Beatles explosion like fame - but this particular edition is the best -and you don't have to be a Beatles fan to love this book.

In a very stark and beautiful manner a series of private images of Paul and family with the addition of the other Beatles shows sort of the gritty Liverpool lifestyle. It's moving because you know one is not going to come back - it sort of reminds me of those great images of Elvis walkng around NYC right before fame became a huge explosion for him. Lost in a world that won't exist anymore for them (the subjects). Priceless really.
