When I started reading this story, I could not put it down. I read the book in one day. This author is an awesome writer. I can not wait to read more of their books. Keep up the great work. You should definitely read this book.

Nicki is still discovering her gifts since she found out she is a Kitsune shifter. A former friend, Brandon has been insistent that she is his mate and he is becoming hostile in her refusal. Devon had a career ending injury after 10 years in the Army, has been medically discharged and is back home. He has also just found out he was a shifter and Nicki helped him the first time he shifted. They are becoming close and maybe potential mates which infuriates Brandon who is now causing all sorts of mischief and damage that is escalating. Another very well written and interesting book continuity the series. Lots of suspense and surprises!

Brandon has been her best friend for so much of her life, it is very hard for Nickie to deal with the lengths he is going to now. He has hurt her himself directly and tasked others in ways that hurt her emotionally as well as physically- talk about a guy who cannot accept no. What kind of friend was he to not show at least a minimum of respect and care for Nickie now that he is pursuing her relentlessly.

Devon and Nickie are both discovering and learning to use their talents- and to explore their relationship with each other.

Things are getting real - too bad they are really painful at the same time.

Intense psychological drama & action/adventure.

I believe that it helps to read the first book to this series called Change it’s free on Amazon so there’s no excuse, this is book 2 to the Kitsune series and I loved it. I enjoyed Nickie’s and Devon’s story, Nickie was friends with Brandon but he’s shown his true colours by threatening Nicki he still says that she is his mate but she knows that he is just deluding himself. There’s plenty of action, danger, suspense, steamy scenes and so much more to keep you entertained and turning the pages, this is a great story and I recommend this book.

I reread this so my review would be fresh. I love this series and this book is actoin packed. Nickie is only known she was Kitsure for a few months and is learning her gifts and how to use them. While she is learning all it means to be Kitsune.
She is also dating someone new and her ex who won't take no for an answer and keeps showing up.
Devon has returned after 10 years in the army and getting used to being home.
Read and enjoy all the twists and turns in the story.

In this 2nd book in the series, both Nickie and Devon explore their powers as shifters. Nickie is learning about mates from Devon because his family told him. They are exploring a relationship together. Still lurking in the background is Nickie's one-time friend turned stalker, Brandon, who just can't accept No from her. As I read the book I wondered what mayhem he would cause! There's an abundance of action, fighting, and hot, sexy times! So enjoy!

Learning to navigate something that is new to you takes some time for anybody, being a shifter and learning about mates throws Nickie through a loop and then to top it all off Brandon won’t give her enough space to think and he insists that they are mates. But she knows that can’t be true, but how will she convince him. Then she is asked by her alpha to go take care of some pack business what will be in store for her, you will have to read to find out.

Exhausting! Nicki is learning and feeling more confident. She is adjusting to her new life well and always open to learning. She confident enough to lean on Devon and strong enough to stand on her own. Between the troubles, and her shock over Brandon's action Nicki doesn't seem to have high self preservation instincts. She, Devon, Alexis and Cadon head to Seattle for an adventure that takes unexpected turns. Nice story. I received an ARC from Booksprout for a review.

I've read a lot of books written by Melissa Stevens; she has done a great job at writing another good book; she is one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of books her books.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Brandon continues to cause problems as Nickie’s and Devon’s relationship develops. Melissa Stevens has woven an exciting series. I highly recommend Fight and suggest you start with Change. I’m looking forward to reading the next novel.

Entertaining, page turning, and engrossing. This is a fantastic second book the series, where it is very beneficial to read book 1 before hand. I love reading about Nickie's journey to figuring about what it means and how to be a Kitsune.

Great story. Nickie’s life is changing as she learns more. Brandon is claiming she’s his mate but Devon is way more of what she wants. Nothing is ever easy. Well developed characters and we learn more about the Kitsune. Devon and Nickie have a real thing. Twists and turns and a great storyline. (I voluntarily reviewed an ARC).

First book was better.

I loved the first book in the series, the plot and story, so much so I bought the 2nd one. I was disappointed. I’m no prude but basically a lot of the chapters were the sex act between the characters. One would have sufficed and would have been able to write more into the story. I won’t be purchasing more by the author. I feel the author let us down.

Fight is book two in a four book series. They are not stand alone stories and need to be read in order for them to make sense. Amazing is the only way to describe this book.

Melissa gave us a rousing book filled with action. "if you read Change you will want to read Fight to find out what has happened to Nickie: she's found out more about her powers as Kitsune, her relationship with Devon has intensified and her former friend, Brandon, is stalking and threatening her. As she travels to Seattle to see if she can call forth a man's wolf she thinks she left the threats behind but is kidnapped on Seattle's streets. There is a blossoming sexual realationship between Nickie and Devon as they realize they are possible mates and the sex scenes are quite erotic. For those who find such scenes uncomfortabe this might not be the right book but if you enjoy a little steamy sex along with an action packed tome you should read this.

This book is great for building even more into the story and intricate details of this Kitsune love story. You will learn more about the pack and the dynamics of the pack. This story is a lot more romantic than the first, but you kind of expect that after the first novel. Be prepared with an ice cold drink, you will need it to counteract the steaminess of this book. The last book was definitely fantasy, this one would fit easily under either fantasy or romance.
