The book was a work read. We use 4MAT to design curriculum for staff trainings, and for that reason it was very profitable. A lot of valuable ideas to design based upon this type of format.

This book is OK for reading up on 4MAT. The strength is that it explains the four quadrants, and your role as trainer/teacher quite well, and also gives somewhat useful suggestions what types of activities you can do in each. The downside is that I find its structure somewhat confusing (ironic, given the topic), and that learning styles itself (which 4MAT is not necessarily) is a problematic topic, and not scientifically sound, so those parts dealing with the 8pie, brain hemispheres and the such I do not recommend, it also offers little useful knowledge on learning theory.
2 out 5, because some parts are truly useful and well explained.
