His home life is not good - his parents are going through a separation, his father is out of the picture completely, his mother is dating and never home. In a word, he is troubled.

A dark read that was a little too realistic in an extremely chilling way. I'm a big fan of his imagery and writing style...and it was a particularly touching and bitter ending. It's a quick read, one that will commonly be devoured in one sitting. Give it a try.
