Fast and close. When traffic flows properly it can go at incredible speeds with tremendous proximity. What makes it work? Lines. Distingiushing where cars should and shouldn't be enables high speeds, great closeness, and safety. Failing to observe the lines endangers some, frustrates everyone, and keeps things from functioning correctly.

As it is with cars, it is with life. Interstates have traffic jams; we have life jams. We But it doesn't have to be this way. Stay In Your Lane offers a simple process to worry less, love more, and get things done.

What if you knew what caused you to feel depleted, guilty, and powerless? This little book answers that question. Thompson teaches readers to view problems through the lens of what belongs to Me, Others, or God. He points out that worry often stems from fruitlessly trying to control others and freedom comes by taking responsibility for the "Me" column. If I could add anything, I would recommend also reading a good family systems book to give some validation and context as to why people struggle with these issues.

Very helpful perspective shifts. Helped me to see areas to work on when it comes to control and other areas I’ve neglected. Good read and super easy

Three lanes. What's mine, what's theirs, what's God's. Very simple ideas but complex. What freedom to stay in my lane and control the things that ultimately under my control, letting go over things I can't control or should.

In the parenting section-
Privileges should match with responsibilities. That stuck with me. How do I give privileges and make sure a responsibility is attached.

Thought it was great read. How you can divide things 3 ways: yours, theirs,God's.

Had many good examples on how to apply this to work, marriage, kids and life.

Recommend this to anyone.
