It is a really good introductory book for the subject of statistics. I am from a non-statistics background (though I have studied mathematics) and I find this book really helpful to understand the basics of statistics.

I have this book (eigth edition). I am confused by the table of contents, below each subtitle, they write their name, are you kidding me ?
For example: 1.introduction (Irwin Miller/ Marylees Miller)...14.Regression and Correlation(Irwin Miller/ Marylees Miller).....Appendix(Irwin Miller/ Marylees Miller)，statistical tables（(Irwin Miller/ Marylees Miller)）
Can someone explain to me why they act like idiots?

This was my first formal introduction to statistics. If you have access to the solutions manual, I highly recommend it for undergraduate practice problems.
