A fantastic collection of documents from the decade that made narcissism and total self indulgence a virtue. Unger covers both major issues and philosophies systematically, beginning with the economic prosperity of the early sixties and ending with the election of 68 and the moon landing. The New Left, the New Right, the Counterculture, and the Civil Rights Movement are featured, as well as foreign policy and antiwar writings.
