The main story was both terrible and hilarious. His big flirt line is "You'll end up pregnant," I guess because he's so potent even his looks can knock you up? I'm not sure how in a normal world such an ability wouldn't scare the hell out of anyone nearby, but the women swoon and faint in bliss. At one point he's so grateful to his doctor for giving him permission to resume sex after an injury, he tells the doc "If you were a woman, you'd be pregnant now." The doc swoons.

So that part was funny, but overall I never got a chance to get to know the characters, which is a bummer because they seemed as if they could be likable. I also would have enjoyed the second story (hot twins who wear glasses? I'm so there) more if it had been longer. XD

I bought this thanks to a really enthusiastic review on another site, and because I was in need of some new BL. Now, it wasn't exactly bad, but it wasn't great either. It was just rather superficial, and I didn't come to care for any of the characters. But I've read worse, and the art was okay, and I liked the second story with the glasses because I like darkhaired men with glasses. Don't expect anything worldchanging or particularly moving, and you may enjoy yourself.

01.2021: I have a bit of a different view on the beginning of the story now. Maybe I'm biased by now, but having re-read every volume, the beginning doesn't bother me as much as it did when I first started the series when their back and forth and their fighting felt very exaggerated to me.
I still think them falling in love in volume 1 was a too fast considering how long of a series this is (but that's only my personal preference). Having read more volumes now, I can say that their relationship will develop. Their love will feel more genuine and less superficial later on and I really appreciate this. Topics like coming out to one's family, being outed and bullied at work, believing in your partner and your relationship are addressed.

Huge plus point for me, still, is the art and the fact that we have MCs in their late thirties.

2014: 2.5 stars

I saw no reason why the guys would fall in love so fast because they don't know each other that well and we don't really get to know them, either. All this to-ing and fro-ing between them is over the top, "Oh, I'm going to show him what a stud I am." "No, I'm going to be the one on top because I'm such an amazing guy." I know it's meant as a comedic element, but I often struggle with those. I think it's interesting that both are dominant and sure of themselves, though.

The art is not your usual BL-style and I liked that and it suited those guys.

This book is weird. It's basically two semes trying to fight for the top position.
I don't think anyone can really relate to the characters ( well I probably relate to the bisexual one for his sexuality, other than that, no. ).
It's hella average in terms of story but the art is really nice to look at. I bought this book as I have already finished the live action movie, and it's good but in my opinion it would be much enjoyable with a second volume. A second volume exists but it isn't translated yet.

Honestly, the official English license of the manga sucks. The quality of the book is nice I guess but they literally licensed the first volume and then dropped it, so a second volume is not likely to come ( and this is DMP for you ). I liked the text they used on the official license and the cover though.

¡Muy divertido!

Los gráficos me encantaron, realmente puedes apreciar la belleza de los personajes.

Ozaki yTsuburuya son lideres y apasionados por su trabajo, tienen personalidades diferentes muy marcadas, de alli que sea tan cómico para mi, porque tratan de conquistarse mutuamente y ninguno quiere ser el que ceda primero.

Ellos hacen una tierna pareja, apesar que fingan ser machistas para cuidar su ego, en realidad, son dos hombres modernos viviendo un romance de lo mas normal. Bueno todo lo normal secretamente cuidado.

El segundo romance sucedió sin dramas, seguro que la escritora lo desarrollará mas adelante.

Hay un Live Action de este manga y es una pelicula japonesa llamada "Docchi mo Docchi."

Utterly ridiculous and over the top.
Yet I can't stop reading it.It's one of those cheesy reads you can't put down.The story is funny in embarassing ways.

The two main characters are kind of an asshole.They are out to get each other at first and their banters evolves into weird flirting to a whirlwind love.At the pace their relationship is developing, it not very belivable.I was hoping to see a switch couple and was let down.It's really too bad.

The art is ok.The anatomy and body proportions is decent.But the main chararacters suffers same-face syndrome.

I was disapointed by this manga. The characters were cute and had their own interesting personalities, but there wasn't enough feelings for me to really care about the two main characters. Everything felt rushed and the sex was average. I didn't really like the side story, I'd rather the author had wrote the whole manga focusing on the main characters to give them more depth.

It was just an average manga. On the plus side, the art was well-done.

Les packs proposés par les éditions IDP m'ont toujours intéressée, mais j'ai toujours eu peur de recevoir les nouveaux packs et non les anciens (et donc rater les premiers tomes des sagas), et surtout de me retrouver avec des mangas qui ne me plairaient pas. Donc du coup, j'ai profité d'un petit tour sur mon site d'occaz' favoris pour m'en prendre trois, et je commence donc par ce premier yaoï...

Et pour le coup, je suis déçue de ce manga. Par l'histoire, par le dessin, les deux ne m'ont pas plu. Parce qu'en faite, histoire il n'y a pas. Tout est basé sur la séduction de l'un et de l'autre, et c'est tout, il n'y a pas un petit semblant de scénario derrière. L’intérêt donc? Donc du coup, je me suis focalisée sur la scène de sexe et là, encore, je suis déçue.

Les scènes de sexes (deux, pour être exacte), sont totalement décevantes et sont à des années lumières du style yaoï. Étant habituée à Viewfinder, je m'attendais à un minimum de sensualité. La romance est amenée tellement rapidement, du style, "oh il m'a regardé aujourd'hui! et puis j'ai de la fièvre! ah, ça veut dire que je suis amoureux!" (je chipote, mais en gros, c'est ça).

Je crois que le choc a été d'apprendre qu'il y avait une suite -oui oui-, parce qu'il y a juste un gros "One Shot" sur la tranche du manga. Donc pour moi, il n'y avait pas de suite. Je me demande donc comment ça se passe les classifications de mangas chez IDP...

Côté dessins, je n'ai pas du tout aimé le style graphique. Les visages sont bien travaillés, mais ils sont trop allongés. C'est un style graphique que l'on aurait plus l'habitude de trouver dans un shônen que dans un yaoï. Malgré ça, le découpage des cases est fluide, les expressions des personnages sont trop exagérées, mais variées. Cependant, je regrette que seuls les deux personnages principaux soient travaillés, au détriment des autres personnages, qui au final se ressemblent tous.

En bref, le tome 02 sera sans moi...

Il y a des bonnes choses et globalement c'est une lecture sympa. Mais j'ai eu 2 problèmes. Le premier avec les dessins, inégaux. Ils louchent beaucoup trop xD Mais mon plus gros problème c'est la façon dont est amenée l'histoire... ou plutôt la façon dont elle n'est PAS amenée. Franchement il ne manquait pas grand chose, juste une petite page grand max pour nous dire qu'ils sont rivaux et que du coup ils sont dans une espèce de compétition "qui fera craquer le premier"... parce que ça manque, du coup au début j'étais un peu perdue, ne comprenant absolument pas pourquoi ils faisaient ce qu'ils faisaient, parce que ce n'était pas hyper clair. (et, non, on ne peut pas se contenter de le dire dans le résumé, je ne lis pas toujours les résumés et surtout je ne les apprends pas par cœur, le résumé n'est pas le début de l'histoire ! ^^)
Bon il y avait de bonnes choses, des moments sympas, de l'humour, parfois même un petit côté Takane et Hana, mais ça reste finalement moyen. Je lirai peut-être la suite en espérant que les choses seront mieux amenées, parce que j'ai quand eu l'impression pendant une bonne dizaine de pages qu'il me manquait un épisode, qu'en fait j'avais pris le tome 2...

Attractive salary men bowling over the all the women with their amazing pheromones and mad skills. But can they make a real connection with each other? This is another way over-the-top silly bl manga (seems to be a trend) where the base story is actually pretty good. They match each other in skills and appearance (so nice) and are locked in battle to come out on "top." So, a mental and physical power struggle in a realistic (if waaayyyy bishie) relationship. Very fun and light read.

Again, 18+, but very little sexual content...until the last few pages...spoiler alert?

Hier bin ich irgendwie hin und her gerissen. Zum einen hat es mir ganz gut gefallen. Ich fand die Idee mit den beiden Abteilungsleitern und dem gegenseitigem Necken richtig gut. Allerdings waren mir dann einige Neckereien doch zu heftig und daher konnte ich es nicht so genießen.
Der Zeichenstil hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Vor allem die Mimik und Gestik war sehr gut.
Ob ih die Reihe weiterverfolge, weiß ich aber noch nicht. Dafür hat es mich story-technisch nicht genug gepackt.

I think this manga was funny, in spite of all the negative reviews. It is one of those stories that you don't have to take it seriously. It is silly but enjoyable. There was a bit of rivalry, and it is that rivalry that leads to romance. The whole thing with the girls getting pregnant... did anyone watch Yuri!!! on Ice?? Same thing, when Yuri was thinking that even he, as a guy, could get pregnant by watching Victor skating. It is just an expression, not a pick-up line.

Jälleen yksi BL-manga yli kymmenen vuoden takaa. Tykkäsin piirrostyylistä, aika ajaton! Usein ei voi sanoa samaa yhtä vanhoista genrensä edustajista. Hahmotkin toimivat, vaikka tässä oli osittain ihan kamalia juttuja (työpaikan suosituin hottisjäbä kulkee ympäriinsä heittelemässä jotain “you will get pregnant (vain näkemällä hänet?” -iskurepliikkejä, mitä. Tätä sarjaa olisi oikeasti tarjolla useampi osa, mutta syystä tai toisesta enkkujulkaisu jätettiin tähän yhteen osaan.

Great art style, the story was actually pretty interesting...I would totally read a solid series about these characters. The reason for the 3 stars is that it does read like the first in a series, but the last 5 pages kind of speeds everything through in a bit of a rushed way.
Definitely keeping it though.

That thing was so ridiculous it was actually funny. You can't take Same Difference seriously, but as something to just pass the time it works.

I actually picked this one up because I hoped it was going to be about a versatile couple. Of course I was wrong (I've read countless yaoi manga and literally only one featured that kind of a couple).

The relationship is hard to believe, the lines are over-the-top, and the characters are full of cliches.

So why am I giving this 4 stars?
1. Great art
2. Openly bisexual character (this always bumps up the rating in my eyes, because I hate when bi people are referred to as "straight" or "gay" - I just hate bi erasure)
3. Hilarious, like some sort of a parody (I'm not sure if it was intended as such, but that's how I'm seeing it)
4. No rape (it's sad that this even has to be a point, but we all know yaoi)

I liked it a lot. The only thing that bothered me was some of the crude humour. They joked a bit about rape, and that is definitely not something I like to see. The pregnancy joke I was indifferent to. I liked that they were both more assertive and that there was no typical Uke. They were fighting over who would get to be at the top, and I have to say, I found it funny. The drawings were well done and still hold up with how newer manga look. I liked the suits and that both characters looked like men, not boys. I have a massive issue with manga having characters that look too young, and this mangaka didn't do that.

Ayyy tatlı bir çiftti. İsimleri aklımda çok kalmadı yalan yok ama müdürün çizimi muhteşemdi djdkkdd o tombik ve kısa adamın bu iki yakışıklı çiftin yanındaki duruşu aşırı komikti. Uzun bir seri olsa ne matrak olurmuş. Kısa geldi YETMEDİ!! Kısa diye puan kırmaktır bu.
