An informative and interactive approach to the basics of Project Management and the CompTia Project+ Exam. I used both this and Heldman's Project+ Study Guide to prepare for the exam. I felt the On Track guide presented a much easier to understand and better explained narrative. The appendix condensed all the formulas into an easy to digest page, which I reviewed before the exam and definitely helped me keep formulas straight.

I passed the exam with ease on the first attempt, and would recommend this guide to anyone wishing to do the same.

I used this book to study for the Project+ CompTIA exam and passed with a 905/1000. It worked well, but I'll warn you that the exam itself is not written well and at times is extremely vague with what they are asking. Overall this was adequate to get the job done. I'd recommend it to someone who has done self study for cert exams before, but for a novice, I'd shop around for a different, more thorough book.

Very well written, easy to follow, and makes the best out of the somewhat dry material. The chapters tend to go on a bit, but the book was good enough to help me pass the Project+ exam so I guess that's all that matters.
