Our first human heroine who isn't White! She "dies" in an attack and is taken out of time. As she's thrown into her work, she breaks the rules even more than the first human Nameless. This leads her to be isolated from others, but still able to carry out a work that brings her emotional completion. Her hero was a jerk in the previous book, but has matured and now is supportive.

She became one of the Nameless, but instead of retrieving the dying to her Home, she rescues those who would otherwise die. Totally against the rules for the Nameless! Her punishment includes life imprisoned with the sexiest male of the Nameless. Where do I sign up?!

Much as I dislike these stories Avert is my favorite. It flows to smoothly, too bad the Orb is so stinky about this pair.

Love the story so far and how the characters from the previous story are brought up and how the Terrans hang together. Sky and Tavik has a nice relationship but would had like to have read his POV. There were also some great info about how the HOME and Nameless are out of the universe time sequence with Sky moving back and forward in time. Like the tid bit POV of the little girl that Sky had saved and wonder if she had some great role for the Nameless people.
