Listened to this book: good, but dated ideas; implementing as many as possible. Still don't know how he gets 10% returns.

THE financial handbook for Baby Boomers-- Pond covers all the bases in preparing Boomers for retirement. While the middle section on stock investment gets a little dense, overall this is a very readable book that outlines strategies that ensure financial security (as well as other factors that influence a happy retirement-- staying in good health, keeping active, maintaining strong friendships...).

He disagrees with conventional wisdom that almost all Boomers are destined for destitution, and explains why. It was nice to hear from a financial expert who's not a "doom and gloom" guy.
