1. No awards 2. Preschool to 2nd grade 3. This book takes place on a farm and opens with a rooster waking everyone up and goes on with the cats, chicks, cows, the sheep and so on. You learn each animals sound in the song. The ending is cute because he says on this farm they had a song and everyone is happy, singing and dancing. 4. The book was beautifully illustrated and fun to read. It was stuck in my head after I read it. The repetition did get a little annoying towards the end. 5. Repetition, learn about farm animals, singing to learn animals
Based on a song of the same name, this book could be used to teach young children about farm animals and the sounds that they make. It incorporates music, so this book is a fun way to learn about the farm animals.
