About the author

Thomas M. Myers, M.D., grew up in Flagstaff, Arizona. His interest and passion for the Grand Canyon began in his youth and he has been hiking and exploring in and around the Canyon most of his life. Co-author of two books, Over the Edge: Death in Grand Canyon and Fateful Journey: Injury and Death on Colorado River Trips in Grand Canyon. Over the Edge is his most recent collaboration (2001) co-written with Michael P. Ghiglieri and covers every known death in the Grand Canyon in recorded history. Well-written and easy to read, it is an excellent book for any Canyon enthusiast.
