The Talking Tree

Rate this book
Written & Illustrated by Jennifer Tucker

This book is about a lonely girl who sat down, and had a chance to speak to a tree. For a short moment she is able to tap into the consciousness of the tree, and it tells her it's life story. She finds the tree is just as lonely as she is, because it was once part of a large forest until people built a road, and cut it down. She realizes how alive, and conscious the trees actually are, and learns how to help it, and all the other lonely trees in the world.

A Message From The
This is my first book, and it is very special to me. I wanted to write a book to explain to kids how important trees are, not just because they provide us with oxygen, shade, and houses, but because they are conscious beings here to help us. The trees are older then all of us. They have stood still, and watched us grow our whole lives. They've watched us do everything, and they have been by our sides ready to help us in any way we imagine. It's time we help them back, and give those lonely trees their forest back.
