For Canadian mariners looking to write the Cargo level 2 exam (CG-2), I read this entire book to study at the recommendation of my examiner. I also did some self-study (with online practice questions) and read almost all of Cargo Work by D.J. House, a much longer book, which I recommend starting with to understand the basic concepts first. It definitely cannot be used on its own to pass the CG-2 test, but summarizes some important points well.
